These 4 Popular K-Pop Idols Have Twins
In a previous article, we made a list of K-Pop idols related by being either siblings or cousins or otherwise. However, did you know that there are K-Pop idols closely related by blood and are identical twins for that matter? Two seems to be better than one in this case. However, when out and about, they're often mistaken for one another. Some of these pairs are so incredibly identical that even their managers have trouble telling them apart. There are even instances when both twins are in the same industry. As such, fans have a lot of fun watching the two. Here's a list of K-Pop idols that have identical twins!
1. Crayon Pop Cho A and Way
Choa is the main vocalist of Crayon Pop. Her twin sister Way is also part of the same group. 'Choa & Way' is the first sub-unit of the girl group Crayon Pop, consisted of the twins Choa and Way. They debuted on October 15, 2014, as Strawberry Milk with the mini-album 'The 1st Mini Album.' Choa is the main vocalist, whereas Way is the main rapper, main dancer, and the face of the group. The twins are famous for their beautiful relationship and cultural dynamics, and there are several compilations of them being adorable on Youtube.
2. TASTY's Daeryong and Soryong
Tasty, stylized as TASTY, was a K-pop duo formed by Woollim Entertainment in 2012. The group was composed of identical twins Daeryong and Soryong. They made their debut in August 2012 with the single album Spectrum.[2] In 2015, they left Woollim Entertainment. The name has since then changed to Hanch兄弟, and Daeryong and Soryong are promoting in China. On September 5, 2016, Hanch Brothers released the mini-album "WORK." As they're perfectly identical and tough to tell apart, the two have developed their unique styles to distinguish themselves. Daeryong is also a little shorter than Soryong.
3. MVP's Been and Jin
MVP is a seven-member boy group under PH Entertainment. The group first appeared in December 2015 with the release of a group teaser and promoted on the member's personal Instagram accounts until it was confirmed in March 2016. PH Entertainment revealed the member's stage names and profile photos in July 2016. They debuted on March 13, 2017, with the release of their first mini-album Manifest. Their name stands for "Most Valuable Player." Been and Jin are identical twins and were a part of a dance crew called 'Speed' before debuting with MVP. Been has a mole on his nose, and Jin has a mole above Jin's lip, and that is what fans use to tell the two apart.
4. f(x) Luna
Luna is a singer, musical actress, television presenter, and Youtuber. She debuted as a member of the girl group f(x) in September 2009. Apart from her group's activities, Luna has established herself as a musical actress, notably through her participation in the original and Korean versions of stage musicals including Legally Blonde, Coyote Ugly, High School Musical on Stage!, School OZ Hologram Musical, In the Heights, Rebecca, Rudolf (The Last Kiss), and Autant en emporte le vent (Gone with The Wind). She also starred in the film The Lightning Man's Secret (2015).
Luna has a fraternal twin sister Jin Young. Jin Young is also a vocal powerhouse with a beautiful singing voice, and she even majored in vocal music in college. The two performed together in 2017 in dedication to their father.
