Korean Netizens Flood Red Velvet Joy's Instagram With Hate Comments Following Irene's Attitude Controversy
Following Red Velvet member Irene's bad attitude controversy, netizens have started targeting other members. They first targeted Yeri, and now it appears they are targetting Joy as they flood her Instagram with nasty comments.
All over Joy's Instagram account, Korean netizens have left insulting comments on her post. Here are some notable ones that fans have noticed:

On October 21, industry editor Kang Kook Hwa shared a lengthy to her Instagram account, exposing a female idol for her rude personality. Her original post did not reveal the name of the idol. She exposed the idol for verbally attacking her, claiming that the second she entered the room, the idol did not greet her and just sat down, immediately saying harsh words at her while pointing.
Kang Kook Hwa claimed that she had heard stories from other people concerning said idol for a while but did not know it was at this level. Netizens had speculated it was someone from Red Velvet, as the post ended with the hashtags #psycho and #monster, two popular song titles from Red Velvet and their first sub-unit, respectively.

As the issue started to gain traction, Irene issued an apology through her Instagram account, and SM Entertainment released a statement. She apologized for her bad behavior and stated that she regrets having hurt the people she worked in the past. The Red Velvet leader confessed she was ashamed of her past words and actions and ensured fans that this would not happen again.
