IZ*ONE will soon be greeting fans once again through another online concert!

On Feb. 10, Off the Record and Swing Entertainment announced that the project girl group IZ*ONE will be hosting an online concert called "ONE, THE STORY." This will be the female act's first online concert in six months since their "Oneiric Theater" in September 2020.

The band will be bringing joy to WIZ*ONEs (IZ*ONE's fan club) through a two-day live-streamed event. State-of-the-art technology will be utilized for the performances - such as augmented reality (AR) and extended reality (XR) - similar to their previous concert to provide a much more live concert experience.

It is said that the first special sub-unit of IZ*ONE will perform at "ONE, THE STORY" and a new unit will be introduced at the event through a performance. What's more, the group will be presenting never-before-seen stages. In addition, the concept of the upcoming concert will tell the tale of how the K-pop girl group and their fans came together.

The project girl group has shared the concert poster via its official SNS accounts, and the photo resembles a particular scene from one of the teaser videos for their debut song "La Vie en Rose," bringing back the time they first stepped on to the K-pop world.

Dates and Ticket Sale for IZ*ONE's Online Concert, "ONE, THE STORY"

IZ*ONE's upcoming two-day online concert will fall on March 13 at 8 p.m. KST and March 14 at 5 p.m. KST. Tickets will go on sale on Feb. 16 at noon KST via Interpark for Korean fans and Ticket Pia for Japanese fans. While Indonesian fans can purchase via MECIMAPRO, tickets will be available on AXS for international fans.

Could "ONE, THE STORY" be IZ*ONE's Last Concert?

Many assume that this online concert could be the project girl group's last concert before their contract expiration with CJ ENM. Although contract extensions of the members have been discussed since November 2020, neither Off the Record nor Swing Entertainment and CJ ENM confirmed whether IZ*ONE will continue as a group or the members would go their own paths.

IZ*ONE's Formation, Debut, and Disbandment

IZ*ONE is a 12-piece project girl group formed through Mnet's reality contest show called "Produce 48," which aired from June to August 2018. The show features South Korean and Japanese trainees who dreamt of becoming idols. Out of the 96 contestants, only 12 trainees were chosen to debut, and these are Eunbi, Sakura, Hyewon, Yena, Chaeyeon, Chaewon, Minju, Nako, Hitomi, Yuri, Yujin, and Wonyoung.

The group name was suggested by netizens, with "IZ" being a numeronym for the number 12 (representing the 12 members), and "ONE" indicates that they are "one" as a group. Additionally, the asterisk (*) between the terms depicts the astrological signs of the zodiac.

On Oct. 29, 2018, IZ*ONE made its debut with an extended play titled "Color*IZ," which features the lead single "La Vie En Rose." Since then, the project girl group has been topping charts and selling thousands and millions of albums, making them one of the biggest K-pop acts today. Their contract expiration with CJ ENM is scheduled to be in April.
