TRI.BE Achieves Impressive Cumulative Streams on Spotify after almost One Month

TRI.BE, a new K-pop group, debuted with the release of a single album that contains the title track "DOOM DOOM TA" in February. After one month, the song has attained remarkable cumulative streams on Spotify.

TRI.BE Makes Much-Anticipated Debut with Single Album "Da Loca"

TRI.BE is a new K-pop group co-produced by Shinsadong Tiger and Universal Music Group. Members Songsun, Kelly, Jinha, Hyunbin, Jia, Soeun, and Mire made their debut on Feb. 17 with a single album titled "Da Loca," featuring the title track "DOOM DOOM TA." The music video for the song was also dropped on the same day. As of March 12, the MV for "DOOM DOOM TA" is about to reach five million views on YouTube.

Shinsadong Tiger, who is known for producing hit songs like EXID's "Up&Down" and MOMOLAND's "BBoom BBoom," co-wrote and co-produced "DOOM DOOM TA" with EXID's LE. The song tells about not caring what other people say.

TRI.BE's Debut Song Gains Outstanding Cumulative Streams on Spotify after Nearly One Month

Like any other K-pop track, TRI.BE's debut song "DOOM DOOM TA" was also uploaded to Spotify, the world's leading audio streaming platform by the number of subscribers. Because of its addictive chorus and TRI.BE members' unique voices captivated the listeners not only in Korea but also in other countries around the world. In approximately one month, the single managed to garner notable cumulative streams on Spotify.

On Friday, March 12, TR Entertainment and Mellow Entertainment announced that the title track from TRI.BE's debut single album "Da Loca" recently surpassed one million cumulative streams on the streaming platform. This becomes an exceptional achievement for the rookie group who just made their debut only four weeks ago.

With "DOOM DOOM TA" exceeding one million cumulative streams on Spotify, TRI.BE becomes the first 2021 rookie group to reach this milestone. This proves the potential of TRI.BE to become one of the idol groups to lead the K-pop market in the future. Also, this shows how well-received TRI.BE's debut song is. Based on their profile on the streaming platform, the new K-pop group has more than 300,000 monthly listeners.

TRI.BE's Other Chart Performances with Single Album and Debut Songs

Apart from gaining streams on Spotify, both of TRI.BE's debut songs "DOOM DOOM TA" and B-side track "Loca" are doing well on MelOn. As of the first week of March, the title song has more than 200,000 streams on MelOn, while the B-side single has surpassed 15,000 streams.

In addition to this, TRI.BE debuted at No. 132 on the Gaon Album Chart for February. The rookie group was able to sell 1,742 copies of their single album "Da Loca." "DOOM DOOM TA" has also succeeded in claiming a high rank on the Bugs real-time music charts and entering China's largest music site, QQ Music Chart. TRI.BE joins Purple Kiss as the only 2021 female rookie group to chart on QQ Music.
