EXO Baekhyun Officially Becomes a Double Million Seller
EXO Baekhyun has earned the title "double million seller" with his two consecutive releases, "Delight" and "Bambi"!
On March 30, Baekhyun made his much-awaited comeback with a new extended play titled "Bambi." The EP consists of six R&B songs that talk about love. The title track, also titled "Bambi," illustrates a love story using expressions found in fairytales.

Prior to his comeback, Baekhyun was predicted to receive another "million seller" title after "Bambi" recorded more than 800,000 in pre-orders alone.
EXO Baekhyun Earns Title of "Double Million Seller"
On April 19, reports revealed that Baekhyun has reached another million mark in album sales with his new mini-album "Bambi." This is his second album to do so, after "Delight," making him a double million seller.
As of April 18, a total of 1,006,835 copies of "Bambi" has been sold. The album only took only 20 days after release to hit the million mark.

EXO Baekhyun's first solo album to reach this milestone is his 2020 EP "Delight," which sold a total of 1,018,746 copies as of June 30. This earned him the "million seller" title, and made him the first-ever solo artist after 19 years to attain more than a million copies in sales since Kim Gun Mo's "Another Days" in 2001.
Other than that, Baekhyun has become the first "million seller" both as a solo artist and as a group after Seo Taiji of Seo Taiji and Boys. EXO has five albums that sold more than one million copies, and together with his two solo albums, Baekhyun is now a holder of seven albums that recorded over a million in sales.

Baekhyun's "Bambi" ranked first on domestic album charts and also top iTunes Album charts in more than 60 regions around the world. The album even took the No. 1 spot on China's QQ Music and KuGou Music's Bestselling Digital Album charts.
Furthermore, "Bambi" landed at No. 1 on the United World Chart's solo rankings and overall rankings with a total of 816,000 copies, becoming one of the biggest debuts on the said chart in 2021.

Meanwhile, Baekhyun's new solo album has been revealed to be the No. 1 bestselling album on Hanteo Chart in the first quarter of this year. For the Daily Album Chart dated April 16, "Bambi" once again ranked first after selling 90,855 copies.

Hanteo Chart also recently revealed the official Initial Chodong or first-week album sales of "Bambi," from March 30 to April 5. The EP impressively sold a total of 868,840 copies, the highest number of sales in the first week for a soloist.
This makes "Bambi" the bestselling album of a K-pop artist on Hanteo Chart for the first quarter of 2021. It is followed by BTS's "BE" with 757,567 cumulative album sales.
Also, Baekhyun has now beaten his previous personal record of highest first-week sales with "Delight." This album sold 600,908 albums as of May 25 last year. "Bambi" even surpassed the record for stock pre-orders of "Delight." "Bambi" had 833,392 pre-orders, while "Delight" had 732,297 pre-orders.
