SEVENTEEN Celebrates 6th Debut Anniversary with Heartwarming Donation

SEVENTEEN is celebrating their debut anniversary with a meaningful donation!

SEVENTEEN, comprising a total of 13 members, made their debut on May 26, 2015. This year marks the boy group's sixth anniversary of their debut, and to make the celebration more special, the "Mansae" singers have decided to donate to Good Neighbors.

On May 26, SEVENTEEN made a donation to Good Neighbors to support children who are victims of abuse. It will be used for the recovery of the victims, particularly for the psychological treatments that will help them maintain their emotional balance.

This way, repeated abuse will be prevented and the children can restore their daily lives.

This is not the first time SEVENTEEN has done a good deed. The 13-member boy group has been constantly donating since their debut in 2015. They would provide aid every year when they celebrate the anniversary of their debut.

In particular, last year, SEVENTEEN donated to a campaign by ChildFund Korea that gives housing support to deprived children. The "Pretty U" singers made the donation under Carat, their fan club.

Aside from the donation, SEVENTEEN also plans to release various content in celebration of their sixth debut anniversary. Those will serve as gifts to fans who have always given them generous love and support.

To kick off the celebration, the "Don't Wanna Cry" singers uploaded a group photo to their official social media accounts on May 26 at midnight KST.

In the image, the 13 members - S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, The8, Mingyu, Dokyeom, Seungkwan, Vernon, and Dino - are dressed in suits, exuding a more mature atmosphere.

In the caption, SEVENTEEN wrote "HAPPY SEVENTEEN's DAY!" along with three hashtags: "#HAPPY_SVT_DAY," "#SVT_6th_Anniversary," and "#6Years_with_CARAT."

SEVENTEEN to Release New Mini-Album "Your Choice"

In other news, SEVENTEEN is about to make their domestic comeback with their eighth mini-album, titled "Your Choice," their first Korean release in eight months since their special album "; [Semicolon]" released in October last year.

"Your Choice" will be the first release of SEVENTEEN's "Power of Love" project. It is slated to be released on June 18.

On May 18, the 13-member boy group dropped an animated concept trailer, titled "Power of Love." The video shows all kinds of love, such as love at first sight, intimate love between couples, love for the children, love for our pets, love for what we do best, and love for dancing.

Ahead of the album release, SEVENTEEN members, Mingyu and Wonwoo, will release a new single featuring Lee Hi. Titled "Bittersweet," the track will be released online on May 28 at 6 p.m. KST.

On May 20 at midnight KST, Mingyu and Wonwoo dropped the first teaser: a motion poster that shows the two idols walking together in the rain.

On May 24, SEVENTEEN uploaded two "making films" videos for both Wonwoo and Mingyu.
