Finally, the offiial TREASURE light stick has been revealed, and Treasure Makers are all here for it!
TREASURE Light Stick Finally Introduced
After 10 months since their debut on Aug. 7, 2020, TREASURE has dropped the official look of their light stick!
On June 21, TREASURE shared several photos on social media showing the design of their official light stick. Along with the pictures is an announcement of the start of pre-orders for the merchandise.
According to the post, fans can pre-order the offiial TREASURE light stick starting today, June 21, via Weverse Shop.

The concept of the light stick's look is a "treasure box," which is reminiscent of the survival show "YG Treasure Box" through which the boy group was formed.
Placed on top of TREASURE light stick is a jewel figure that represents the 12-member group and their fans, collectively called TREASURE MAKER or TEUME.
The head of the product was made transparent to symbolize the way TREASURE will display their various colors and charms in the future.
Meanwhile, the handle of official TREASURE light stick is colored blue to resemble the color of the microphones used by the members.
In addition to the design, the product is complemented with various functions. One of these is the "live reaction mode," in which the flickering light becomes in sync with the playing music.
The light stick also comes with the option to adjust the intensity of the light and some ASMR clips recorded by the 12 members.

On June 28, TREASURE light stick will be officially available at online and offline stores.
YG Entertainment plans to provide special gifts to global fans, including exclusive benefits at the Weverse Shop and offline shops, once they purchase the light stick.

TREASURE's Achievements since Debut in August 2020
From August 2020 to January 2021, TREASURE released the four installments of their "The First Step" series. These four albums have recorded more than one million copies, making the boy group a million-seller within only five months since their debut.

Titled "The First Step: Treasure Effect," the last installment and TREASURE's first full-length album ranked first on the Gaon Weekly Album Chart, becoming the group's third release to reach No. 1.
The album went on to place first on the Gaon Monthly Album Chart for January 2021.
Additionally, TREASURE's "The First Step: Treasure Effect" received a platinum certification from Gaon Chart this past May for selling 250,000 copies in South Korea.
"The First Step: Chapter One" was also certified platinum together with the full-length album.
Meanwhile, TREASURE's Japanese debut album, also titled "The First Step: Treasure Effect," achieved five crowns in various major weekly album rankings, such as Oricon, LINE MUSIC, Billboard Japan.

Regarding rookie awards, YG Entertainment's new boy group took home several. Some of these are "Rookie of the Year (Male)" at the 2020 Asia Artist Awards, "Best New Artist Award (Male)" at the 2020 MelOn Music Awards, and "Best New Male Artist" at the 2020 Mnet Asian Music Awards.
