You would be surprised that these popular songs - NCT U's "Boss," Red Velvet's "RBB," Stray Kids' "God's Menu," and more - never got a music show win!

Keep on reading to see the rest of the list ('cause yes, there are just too many).

Music shows in South Korea have been around for decades and have served as an important aspect of the K-Pop industry. Compared to other countries whose music shows only have artists perform, Korean music shows also give out awards to the No. 1 song based on their respective point systems.

Although the number of awards a group has isn't something that completely defines one's success, it surely helps boost recognition.

In the K-Pop industry, there have been numerous groups who have released amazing and popular songs that dominated the charts either domestically or internationally.

Thus, it would come as a surprise that these K-Pop songs never won a music show!

Here are 6 popular K-Pop songs that never got a music show win, in no particular order.

1. Red Velvet - "RBB (Really Bad Boy)"

Released back on November 30, 2018, Red Velvet's "RBB (Really Bad Boy)" surprisingly never got a music show win.

The song, which is an R&B pop dance track that features a catchy melody and powerful choreography, was positively well-received both domestic and international.

The five-member group, who is known to be versatile in their concepts, highlighted a more sultry and soft side in "RBB." But sadly, it didn't get a music show win.

2. NCT U - "BOSS"

Yes, you read that right! NCT U's "BOSS" never got a music show win even though it's an absolute bop that dominated charts and even became a representative song of NCT U, as well being named as one of the songs that helped define K-Pop in 2018, according to Buzzfeed.

"BOSS" is a dynamic electro hip-hop track that features an addicting chorus and strong choreography (Caution: It might break your back!) that definitely should have had a win.

3. EVERGLOW - "Bon Bon Chocolat"

"Bon Bon Chocolat" is definitely one of the songs that made EVERGLOW more recognized all around the world despite their rookie status at the time.

Released on March 18, 2019, "Bon Bon Chocolat" features a more hip-hop beat with R&B undertones and an EDM synth.

Not only that, but the song was also choreographed by Lia Kim, a highly acclaimed dancer who choreographed many hit K-Pop songs.

4. Stray Kids - "God's Menu"

Another bop that never won a music show is Stray Kids' "God's Menu."

Stray Kids is known for their strong and fast songs that will definitely leave a mark, and "God's Menu" is no different. The song is of the hip-hop and pop genres, and showcases a strong addictiveness that is hard to forget, especially with its lyrics!

5. ATEEZ - "Answer"

Released just last year on January 6, "Answer" is undoubtly one of ATEEZ's underrated songs that deserved a music show win.

"Answer" is a mix of hip-hop, EDM, and trap, and features several high notes, harmonization, soaring hooks, verses that are melodic, and heavy rap. If you haven't heard the song, you should definitely give it a listen!

6. KARD - "Bomb Bomb"

Currently, one of the few co-ed groups to grace this generation's K-Pop industry, KARD's "Bomb Bomb" topped numerous international charts such as iTunes in more than 20 countries and peaked at No. 3 on Billboard's World Digital Songs Sales chart.

The song was quite successful internationally, so it came as a surprise that it didn't win a music show in Korea.

Which K-Pop song do you think deserved a music show win?
