BTS 'Permission to Dance' and (G)I-DLE Soyeon 'BEAM BEAM' Gain the Most YouTube Views among the New K-pop MVs
Among the new K-pop music videos that were released in the first week of July 2021, BTS's "Permission to Dance" and (G)I-DLE Soyeon's "BEAM BEAM" are the only ones that accumulated the most views.

BTS Permission to Dance is the Most Viewed K-pop MV in the First Week of July 2021
BTS's "Permission to Dance" music video garnered the highest YouTube views in the past week among the old and new K-pop MVs.

K-pop Radar revealed that "Permission to Dance" gained 84,979,437 views in the first week of July 2021.
Notably, BTS's new song was only dropped on July 9, so that means this view count was gathered in only two days.
In its first 24 hours after release, BTS's "Permission to Dance" MV was watched 72.3 million times.
While the new K-pop MV didn't cross the 100 million views on the first day like the group's recent hit "Butter," the figure has been recognized as one of the 10 largest one-day views in the history of YouTube.
According to YouTube, BTS's "Permission to Dance" music video has now claimed the No. 6 on the list of the Top 10 biggest one-day view counts.

In addition to its impressive 24-hour views, BTS's "Permission to Dance" MV garnered more than 6.77 million likes on the platform. It even set the fourth-largest YouTube premiere in history.
The "Permission to Dance" music video recently hit 100 million YouTube views. This feat was achieved in only 52 hours or two days and four hours after it was released on July 9 at 1 p.m. KST.
(G)I-DLE Soyeon BEAM BEAM is the Second Most Viewed New K-pop MV in the First Week of July 2021
Among the new K-pop MVs that were dropped from July 4 to 10, Jeon Soyeon's "BEAM BEAM" had the second most YouTube views, after BTS "Permission to Dance."
According to K-pop Radar, the "BEAM BEAM" music video claimed the No. 5 spot on their list of the Top 10 most viewed K-pop MVs in the first week of July 2021.
(G)I-DLE Soyeon's "BEAM BEAM" MV accumulated 9,466,001 YouTube views, the second-highest views among all female K-pop MVs in the previous week.

On July 11, "BEAM BEAM" was the most viewed MV by a female K-pop artist on YouTube. It reached more than 1.2 million views.
Jeon Soyeon's "BEAM BEAM" music video even ranked on YouTube's "Top Songs" for the week of July 2 to 8. It took the No. 13 spot with 1.27 million views.
(G)I-DLE Soyeon also entered YouTube's "Top Female Solo Artists" for the same week. She came in sixth place with 1.5 million views.
