ASTRO 'Switch On' Album Revealed to Contain Songs Composed and Written by Members
ASTRO members were unveiled to have directly taken part in their upcoming album, "Switch On."
On July 23 at midnight KST, the tracklist for ASTRO's "Switch On" album was released.
"Switch On" will be composed of a total of six songs, one of which will serve as the title track. In all of these songs, ASTRO members - JinJin, Rocky, Eunwoo, Moonbin, MJ, and Sanha - were credited either as composers or lyricists.
ASTRO Switch On Album Will Comprise Songs Composed and Written by the Members
Among the six songs from ASTRO's eight mini-album "Switch On" album is the title track, "After Midnight."
"After Midnight" is a fun up-tempo pop song featuring sounds of piano and bass. The disco-based funky beat added more charm to the track. In the lyrics, the ASTRO Members want to covey the feelings they want to express to each other.

ASTRO Eunwoo participated in writing the lyrics for "After Midnight," showcasing his growth as an artist.
Apart from Eunwoo, his fellow ASTRO members JinJin and Rocky also wrote lyrics for the album's title track, specifically the rap part.
Cha Eunwoo is also credited as a lyricist in one of the B-side songs from their "Switch On" album, particularly "Don't Worry."
ASTRO members, JinJin and Rocky, were also the ones who penned the rap parts for "Don't Worry," as well as for "Sunset Sky" and "My Zone."
Rocky is also credited for co-composing and co-writing lyrics for "Don't Worry."
Moreover, JinJin penned the lyrics "Waterfall" and "My Zone," and co-composed "My Zone" with fellow ASTRO member Sanha.

Meanwhile, ASTRO MJ co-wrote and co-composed "Sunset Sky," while Moonbin took part in writing lyrics for "Footprint."
ASTRO's "Switch On" album presents the boy group's memories over the past six years since their debut. The members' participation in writing and composing the tracks makes this work more meaningful.
ASTRO's eighth mini-album is set for release on Aug. 2 at 6 p.m. KST, alongside the music video for "After Midnight."
As of July 22, ASTRO's "Switch On" album has surpassed 10,000 pre-orders on Ktown4u.
"Switch On" will be ASTRO's first album in four months since the release of "All Yours" in April.

ASTRO's Comeback with their All Yours Album
This year, ASTRO made their first comeback in April with their second full-length album, entitled "All Yours," which features the title song "ONE."
ASTRO received three trophies on different music shows for "ONE." Their final win for the song is on Mnet "M Countdown," marking their first-ever win on this program.

On June 10, ASTRO's "All Yours" was announced to have earned a platinum certification from Gaon Chart for selling more than 250,000 copies in South Korea.
"All Yours" becomes the boy group's first album to be certified on Gaon.
ASTRO's second full-length album even ranked first on the Gaon Album Chart and the Oricon Chart.
On the Gaon Album Chart for the first half of 2021, ASTRO's "All Yours" claimed the No. 15 spot with 360,304 total copies sold in South Korea.
The album's title track, "ONE," also entered Gaon's mid-year chart, securing the No. 26 spot.
