On August 19, Taeyang, T.O.P., and Daesung posted some pictures and also congratulations on the 15th anniversary of the group's debut on their Instagram account.

Taeyang posted a message for the fans, saying that time really flies. It is already their 15th anniversary. He added that he hopes that all their days will be even more beautiful as the clear sky this hot summer.

Meanwhile, T.O.P. also released a photo with a number balloon that says "15" he then expressed the joy of celebrating the 15th anniversary of Big Bang's debut.

Daesung also expressed his heart to the fans as he gives thanks to his Eternal VIP (fanclub). And he hopes to see them soon.

Big Bang, who debuted as a five-member group on August 19, 2006, has received the love of many domestic and foreign fans with many of their hit songs like "Lies," "Last Farewell," "Haru Haru," "Sunset," "Bang Bang Bang," and Fantastic Baby." There were many controversies like drug scandals that involve G-Dragon and T.O.P. during their promotion period. Then after that, they showed off their strong influence by occupying the charts for every album they released.

But in 2019, Seungri revealed his retirement from the entertainment industry because of the Burning Sun Scandal, then the team was reorganized into a four-member group. Following their reorganization, Big Bang signed a contract renewal for the third time in March 2020 after 2011 and 2015. They tried to perform a comeback stage at the US "Coachella Music and Arts Festival" in April 2020, however, it has been cancelled because of COVID-19 pandemic.

Seungri's Arrest

Last August 12, at the General Military Court of the Ground Operations Command in Yongin-si, Gyeonggi-do, Seungri underwent his first trial. He has been charged with prostitution, embezzlement and special assault. That same day, the court sentenced him to three years in prison with a fine of 1,156,900,000 won or $997,986.98.

Big Bang's Most Anticipated Comeback

Big Bang has announced that they are preparing for a comeback, but no specific plans have been revealed.

Then after many months, YG Entertainment, their agency, confirmed that G-Dragon is already "working on new music." Since then, VIPs and other followers of Big Bang continue to wait for more updates about the new music released.
