Oh My Girl's "Nonstop" is officially the longest-charting girl group song in the history of MelOn, surpassing TWICE's "Cheer Up."
On Aug. 20, the girl group's management agency, WM Entertainment, announced that the title song "Nonstop" from Oh My Girl's seventh mini-album "NONSTOP" has achieved the record of staying on MelOn for the longest period among girl groups songs released since 2014.

Oh My Girl "Nonstop" Surpasses TWICE's "Cheer Up" on the Record for Longest-Running Girl Group Song on MelOn
On April 27, 2020, Oh My Girl returned with a new mini-album, entitled "NONSTOP." This EP has five songs, including the title track that has the same title as the album.
The album's title track, "Nonstop," made Oh My Girl more popular not only in South Korea but also in international countries.

Oh My Girl's "Nonstop" has remained on MelOn, particularly its Top 100 Chart, without missing a single day since it debuted on the tally shortly after release.
On Aug. 19, "Nonstop" tied with TWICE's "Cheer Up" as the longest-running girl group song on MelOn in history.
TWICE's "Cheer Up" was released on April 25, 2016, and managed to stay on MelOn's Top 100 Chart for a total of 479 days. However, "Nonstop" continued to stay in the rankings and ultimately attained the longest record.
On Aug. 20, Oh My Girl's "Nonstop" has officially become the longest-running girl group song on MelOn after achieving its 480th day on the Top 100 chart.
Apart from "Nonstop," the B-side track, "Dolphin," from Oh My Girl's "NONSTOP" also consistently chart on MelOn Top 100. It has already spent 474 days in the rankings as of Aug. 20.
Oh My Girl's "Dolphin" is the B-side track by a female group with the longest time on MelOn. Additionally, it is one of the only three girl group songs in history to surpass 470 days on the chart, following "Nonstop" and "Cheer Up."
It remains to be seen if "Dolphin" will eventually surpass TWICE's "Cheer Up" on MelOn and become the new second-longest-charting girl group song in history.

Oh My Girl "Nonstop" Achievements Following its Release
"Nonstop" is an up-tempo dance song with lyrics that compare the exciting feelings of falling for a friend to a boarding game. Shortly after it was dropped, the song recorded an all-kill on major music charts in South Korea. Oh My Girl also received eight music show trophies for "Nonstop."

Moreover, the "NONSTOP" album took the top spot on iTunes Album charts in 21 countries around the world, including the United States, Japan, Hong Kong, Austria, Russia, Spain, and Turkey.
Other than this, Oh My Girl won a few major awards at different awards ceremonies with "Nonstop," particularly the "Song of the Year - April" at the 2021 Gaon Chart Music Awards and the "Digital Bonsang" award at the 2021 Golden Disc Awards.
Over on the weekly Gaon Album Chart, Oh My Girl's "Nonstop" peaked at No. 3, and it also peaked at No. 2 on the Gaon Streaming Chart.
