CL Releases Final Teaser for 'SPICY' Ahead of Her Comeback
A day before her comeback, CL further raised expectations by releasing the final music video teaser for "SPICY."
CL Releases teasers for her album 'ALPHA'
"ALPHA" is CL's first solo studio album. She formerly planned to release the album last year in November. But it has been postponed because she will add more ideas and songs.
The title of the new song is "SPICY," and it raised expectations by releasing the music video's teaser.
Last August 19, the music video of "SPICY," showed CL with different dancers standing together with a LED displaying unique patterns in the background. Later in the video, the title of the single has been revealed, spelling the word "SPICY," which is featured with an impressive metallic design. The letters immediately disappeared right after.
The teaser video anticipates that the song "SPICY" will be a hip-hop track that catches CL's unique charisma like "Bad Girl" and "Hello B*tches."
The song is made special because of John Malkovich's participation.
The words "ENERGY," "POWER," and "CHEMISTRY" were heard at the beginning of the teaser video were also part of the indication that John Malkovich really participated in the song "SPICY."
CL dropped another intense teaser for her upcoming solo comeback.

CL releases final teaser for 'SPICY'
On August 23, a teaser video was posted on CL's official SNS with the phrase that says "She got the sauce, and it's SPICY."
In the new music video teaser, CL seems to be dominating the world. She is seen stepping on top of a mysterious shoulder of a human-eagle statue. Together with the clip, CL posted the phrase "She got the sauce, and it's SPICY." The music is filled with techno beats with more catchphrases that say the word "spicy."
The solo singer's upcoming album "ALPHA" features the title song "SPICY" and it will be released on August 24.
The teaser video is somewhat short, but with CL's "spice on em" and "spice" raps that are bittersweet, experimental beats and John Malkovich's "energy, power, chemistry" comments that has a heavy feeling, a strong hip-hop song is created.
Aside from that, the video features that CL is getting attention by emanating charisma with a pose that shows confidence on John Malcovich's huge statue.

CL's Activities Before her Comeback
CL will hold a TikTok Challenge "#SPICYCHALLENGE" on August 23 at 6 PM (KST), the day before the release of the new song "SPICY." Also, the surprise release of some of the sound sources adds to the comeback fever.
"SPICY" is the first single song that opens the door to CL's first full-length solo album "ALPHA," which will be released for the first time in 13 years of debut. It is also known that John Malkovich had participated in the narration. It is an important thing to pay attention to what kind of synergy it will express with CL.
CL's "SPICY" will be released on digital music platforms all over the world on August 24 at 6 PM KST. The second single of "ALPHA" will be released in September and the whole "ALPHA" album in October.
