These are the 10 Best Lead Vocalists in K-Pop
StarPlay recently held a poll asking their users to vote for their favorite lead vocalists in K-pop. Here are the idols who made the top ten.
From September 30 to October 14, StarPlay held a poll asking their users to vote for the best lead vocalists in K-pop. The winner of the poll will win one Seoul station CM board video ad and online news PR.
1. ASTRO Moon Bin
ASTRO member Moon Bin ranked number one in this poll, scoring 4,596,005 votes. The male idol received 42.46% of the total votes cast. He is not only ASTRO's lead vocalist, but he is also the group's main dancer and center.
2. NCT Haechan
NCT member Haechan ranked second place in this poll, amassing 3,779,459 votes. The K-pop idol received 34.92% of the total votes tallied. Haechan is the lead vocalist of NCT 127 and the group's lead dancer and maknae. In NCT Dream, however, Haechan is the main vocalist.
3. Dreamcatcher JiU
Dreamcatcher member JiU is the highest-ranking female idol on this poll, sitting in third place. The idol received 1,375,350 votes, which is 12.71% of the total votes cast. She is Dreamcatcher's lead vocalist and the group's leader, lead dancer, and visual.
4. TXT Beomgyu
Beomgyu of TXT ranked in fourth place, receiving 539,034 votes. This means that he received 4.98% of the total votes cast. While TXT does not have set positions, Beomgyu often acts as the group's lead vocalist. Many also believe Beomgyu is the group's visual, dancer and rapper.

5. BTS Jimin
BTS member Jimin ranked in fifth place, garnering 509,413 votes. This means that the Permission to Dance singer received 4.71% of the votes cast. On top of being BTS's lead vocalist, Jimin is also one of the group's two main dancers.

6. Red Velvet Seulgi
Seulgi of Red Velvet sits at number six on this poll, receiving 8,250 votes. This means that the female K-pop idol amassed 0.08% of the total votes tallied. Seulgi is also Red Velvet's main dancer, on top of being the group's lead vocalist.

7. TWICE Nayeon
TWICE member Nayeon ranked in seventh place on this poll, receiving 7,973 votes. The Alcohol-Free songstress garnered 0.07% of the total votes. Nayeon is not just the group's lead vocalist; she is also the group's lead dancer, center, and face of the group.

8. 2PM Wooyoung
Wooyoung of 2PM ranked in eighth place, receiving 2,980 votes. The 2PM member receiving 0.03% of the total votes that were cast for this poll. Wooyoung is 2PM's lead vocalist and main dancer.
9. BTOB Lee Changsub
BTOB member Lee Changsub ranked in ninth place, taking home 2,643 votes. The male idol received 0.02% of the total votes that were made. He only has one position in the group but that is all he needs; he truly shines as the lead vocalist!
10. (G)I-DLE Soyeon
(G)I-DLE member Soyeon ranked in tenth place, amassing 2,233 votes. This means that the Beam Beam songstress received 0.02% of the total votes. She is not (G)I-DLE's official lead vocalist but she is speculated to take on the position following Soojin's departure from the group. Her official positions in (G)I-DLE are leader, main rapper, sub-vocalist and center.
