On May 14 of last year, Suho became the third EXO member to enlist in the military after Xiumin and D.O., who have completed their service in late 2020 and early 2021 respectively.

Now that it's November, EXO Suho has already spent one year and six months working as a public service worker, and therefore, he is close to his military discharge.

At the time EXO Suho enlisted in the military, he quietly entered the military training center without any special events. There, he underwent four weeks of basic training before starting his duties as a public service worker.

And on the day of his military enlistment, EXO shared pictures on Lysn of the members - Chen, Kai, Chanyeol, Sehun and Baekhyun - sending Suho off. Even though Lay was unable to send Suho off in person, he did share one of the photos his members uploaded to Lsyn and wrote, "Let's love. Goodbye, leader."

Aside from Suho, the other EXO members who are currently completing their military service are Chen, Chanyeol and Baekhyun. Both Chen and Chanyeol are serving as active-duty soldiers while Baekhyun is a public service worker like Suho.

Though the songs seem to talk about a common love story, the lyrics imply his experiences and the emotions he felt throughout his eight years as a K-pop idol.

In particular, EXO Suho's "Let's Love" is a modern rock genre song about having the courage to love even if it's difficult to express that feeling to someone. The title of the track, which is also EXO's team slogan that Suho created, symbolizes his identity as the group's leader and conveys his affection for the fans.
