VIVIZ Umji to Debut as Radio DJ with 'Umji's Cells' in 2022

VIVIZ Umji Host Own Radio Program 'Umji's Cells' as DJ in 2022
On November 16, KST, broadcasting platform Spoon Radio announced that VIVIZ's youngest member, Umji, will be making her debut as a radio DJ through the platform's upcoming original content "Umji's Cells."
According to Spoon Radio, Umji will be the sole radio DJ of the program, and will be broadcasting live at Spoon Radio Studio every Tuesday from 9pm KST for an hour. They also announced that "Umji's Cells" will begin airing on January 4, and will run until some time in April 2022.
Besides "Umji's Cells" being Umji's debut program as a radio DJ, this also marks her first official activity following GFRIEND's disbandment in May and as a member of VIVIZ.

Produced and presented by Spoon Radio, "Umji's Cells" will present various "cells" and content every time, such as "memory cell," where memories will be shared; "emotional cell," where good songs and stories are sent in by fans; "consolation cell," which will read and give advice and support to fans; and "Disney cell," which will introduce animations and official soundtracks by Disney.
In addition, "Umji's Cells" will allow Umji to communicate with fans, as well as a number of special guests who will be participating in the broadcast.
Meanwhile, following GFRIEND's disbandment and departure from Source Music last May, each of the members has signed on to new labels.
Former members Eunha, SinB, and Umji all signed together under the newly-established label Big Planet Made, where they decided to continue promoting as a three-member group under the new name VIVIZ.
While it is confirmed that the VIVIZ members will be re-debuting, their debut date is still unknown. However, reports say that VIVIZ plans to release a new song within the year.

GFRIEND's Last Release Prior to Disbandment
Prior to GFRIEND's disbandment after their six-year contract expired, the group's last release was back in November 2020 with their third full-album "回:Walpurgis Night."
"回:Walpurgis Night" contains a total of 11 tracks, led by the single "Mago," and includes "Love Spell," "Three of Cups," "GRWM," "Secret Diary," "Better Me," "Night Drive," "Apple," "Crossroads," "Labyrinth," and "Wheel of the Year."
In 2021, GFRIEND released their reality show "GFRIEND's Memoria" on Weverse, Naver V Live, and Youtube. Their last episode of the show is "Game Friend."
