Former AOA Member Mina's Filed Sexual Assault Charges Moves to the Prosecution
On December 1, the Busan Metropolitan Police Agency stated that they received a complaint filed by Kwon Mina earlier this year and they have been investigating a man in his 20s for charges of rape and injury, then they recently sent the case to the prosecution.
According to a police official, the crime took place in 2007, but they have proven that the crime is true by investigating the people involved that time intensively.

Last September, Kwon Mina appeared on a YouTube channel and she claimed she was sexually assaulted by a boy when she was 14 years old. She stated she was sexually assaulted in an empty house by a boy she followed as he said that he was meeting a male student.
She continued sharing she was going to leave, then she was beaten with a beer bottle for more than four hours. Mina added she was beaten all over her body except for her face.
The perpetrator released her at around 2 o'clock in the morning. Because of the beating, she could hardly walk.
She explained she did not report the crime sooner because she was afraid of retaliation and all she could do was report it to the juvenile detention center.
Kwon Mina Copes Up With Sexual Assault Experience
Kwon Mina posted on her personal SNS channel that she was helped by her friends and sister in coping up with the sexual assault. Mina had to recall the memories and submit evidence when she reported it to the police. She is currently waiting for the prosecution's verdict.

Kwon Mina said, "It's been 15 years and I'm almost in a state of giving up, but I'm really grateful to the many people who helped. Then there was a time when I started the investigation with difficulty when I heard that it could go up to life imprisonment. Still, since March, I started the investigation with the police officers. I am grateful for my acquaintances in Busan.. I have come this far.. Fortunately, the most important evidence and witnesses have come out.. I hope the results do not end in vain, and I wish punishment." she said.
Former AOA Mina Gets Entangled With Controversies
Kwon Mina got entangled with different controversies this year. Earlier, she revealed she was bullied by AOA member Shin Jimin for a decade.
She also got into a smoking incident in a hotel she stayed in. Then, Mina revealed she got involved in bad relationships.
She also confessed she was sexually assaulted when she was a teenager.
