Stray Kids and Oh My Girl to Team Up for a Special Collaboration Stage at the 2021 KBS Gayo Festival
On Dec. 13, a Korean media outlet reported that Oh My Girl and Stray Kids are coming together for a never-before-seen collaboration at the 2021 KBS Gayo Festival.
The report added that Stray Kids' "mega performance" will feature the Namhansanseong Fortress, which is registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, while Oh My Girl's stage will display the magnificent natural scenery of Goseokjeong, which boasts a history of about 100 million years.

Through their performances, the two popular groups plan to show off the majesty of Korean culture and attractions to fans around the world.
The production team of the 2021 KBS Song Festival said, "This special stage prepared by Stray Kids and Oh My Girl will showcase attractions that K-pop fans across the globe have never seen before. Please look forward to their collaboration."
Stray Kids and Oh My Girl both have new music releases this year in which they presented more new sides of themselves.

In May, Oh My Girl released their eighth EP "Dear OhMyGirl" that features the title song "Dun Dun Dance" which has become the group's first No. 1 entry on the Gaon Digital Chart.

In terms of sales, "Dear OhMyGirl" recorded the band's new highest first-week sales. It sold over 69,000 copies from May 10 to 16, surpassing their previous record of 23,254 copies attained by their seventh EP "NONSTOP."
Stray Kids made history as the first million-seller artist under JYP Entertainment with their second full album "NOEASY." It also obtained the most stock pre-orders for a JYP album in history - it recorded 930,000 pre-orders.

Notably, the fourth-generation boy group almost tripled their first-week sales with "NOEASY." From Aug. 23 to 29, the album sold 641,589 copies, beating the octet's previous record of 233,381 copies sold for "IN" ("IN LIFE") during its first week in 2020.
Meanwhile, Stray Kids and Oh My Girl's special collaboration stage can be enjoyed on Dec. 17 when the 2021 KBS Gayo Festival will be held both offline and online starting at 8:30 p.m. KST.
What is the Full Line up of Performers at the 2021 KBS Song Festival?
In related news, the production team of the event previously unveiled its full lineup of performing artists. In addition to Oh My Girl and Stray Kids, the KBS Song Festival will also feature performances by other girl groups such as Red Velvet, ITZY, aespa, Sunmi, Brave Girls, STAYC and IVE.
There will also be epic performances by several top boy groups like The Boyz, TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT), ENHYPEN, SEVENTEEN, NU'EST, NCT U, ASTRO and SF9.
Viewers can also expect a few male soloists to perform at the music festival including Kang Daniel, Kim Woo Seok and Lee Mu Jin.
The upcoming 2021 KBS Song Festival under the theme "WITH" will be hosted by AOA Seolhyun, ASTRO Cha Eunwoo and SF9 Rowoon. It will be broadcast on KBS's channel and will be livestreamed on KBS World TV's YouTube channel.
