"Finding Momoland" was a girl group survival program aired in 2016 where 10 trainees from MLD Entertainment (Duble Kick Company at the time) competed against each other to secure a spot in a new girl group, which was eventually called MOMOLAND. The trainees were chosen based on professional judging, online votes and live audience votes.

Following the report, a representative from MLD Entertainment confirmed that they made an offer to Daisy to join MOMOLAND and debut in the next album. However, they clarified that she joined the girl group because she agreed to it.

The company went on to explain that they simply added a new member to fill in the aspects that were lacking in the group.

Meanwhile, Daisy is not part of MOMOLAND anymore but is still under MLD Entertainment. She has not been taking part in the girl group's promotions since February of 2019 and seems to be taking steps to terminate her contract with the label.
