Jang Wonyoung has continuously attracted attention following her re-debut in IVE. The former IZ*ONE member was caught in a series of controversies concerning her attitude, alleged lazy dancing, and superficial skills on stage. Many criticized Jang Wonyoung, stating that she had a lot of experience as an idol, but her skills were still lacking. Some even went as far as to say she contracted "celebrity disease."

However, she is now proving her haters wrong! A post on an online community forum titled "Jang Wonyoung seems to be very conscious of public opinion" has gotten popular, with a South Korean internet user sharing GIFs and images of Jang Wonyoung in IVE's "ELEVEN" dance practice video.
In the video, Jang Wonyoung is seen dancing with powerful and energetic movements. Furthermore, when performing the hair-flipping choreography, Jang Wonyoung was seen executing the move flawlessly, contrasting when she was first accused of lazy dancing.

Jang Wonyoung's progress has received praise from internet users. Many believe that Jang Wonyoung is very receptive to the public's opinions, constantly improving herself to show a better image to the public eye. Furthermore, many have forgiven Jang Wonyoung for her superficial and lazy dace scandal, thanks to her positive attitude.
People state that it is rare for an idol to respond as quickly as Jang Wonyoung has after being criticized for their skills. This proves that she does not want to be entangled in controversy and is always working hard in her career.

Following IVE's debut on December 1 with "ELEVEN," the girl group attained their first music show win on MBC's "Show Champion" on December 8. They became the fastest girl group to take home a music show win since debut. IVE also broke the record for the highest initial total number of album sales recorded in the first week of release with "ELEVEN."
On December 27, "ELEVEN" peaked at number four on Spotify's "Viral Top 50" charts and 95 on the "Global Top 200" chart. In South Korea, the song topped both the Viral Top 50 and the Top 200 charts. "ELEVEN" was the most streamed song on YouTube in South Korea for two weeks in a row. In addition, IVE was selected as the cover artist for TIDAL's "K-POP HITS" playlist.
