Huening Bahiyyih's Minimal Lines in Kep1er's Song 'WA DA DA' Draws Divided Reactions
On January 3, Kep1er made their official debut with "WA DA DA." The nine-member group was formed through the Mnet survival show "Girls Planet 999" in the second half of 2021. Before their debut, the group also garnered a large fan base through the show. So naturally, the "WA DA DA" music video is receiving lots of attention from the K-pop fan community, with many saying Kep1er is a strong candidate for this year's rookie awards.
"WA DA DA" is a song produced by famous names in the industry who have created hit songs for IZ*ONE, ITZY and ENHYPEN. The song was produced by Building Owner, Elum (PRISMFILTER) and Sungyeon (also known as Shannon Bae, a former member of PRISTIN).

The dance track shows the lovely and fresh side of particular. Many have become to the song's addictive chorus, which goes "WA DA DA, WA DA DA, Kep 1 going WA DA DA DA."
However, some people are calling out the alleged mistreatment of some members. As Kep1er is a group formed by the public's votes, the broadcast times and lines of individual members are being dissected. Individual fans of the members are demanding fairness for their biases.

Specifically, people are pointing out that Huening Bahiyyih had the shortest amount of lines despite ranking second place in the finale of "Girls Planet 999." People are also pointing out that Huening Bahiyyih's first center/solo scene is near the halfway point of the music video.
Many people are stating this is unfair, as Huening Bahiyyih is arguably their most famous member internationally. In addition, many internet users indicated that they watched the music video for Huening Bahiyyih and were ultimately disappointed that she had barely any screen time or lines.

She should improve first."
Kim Chaehyun's Lack of Screentime in Kep1er's Debut MV 'WA DA DA' Draws Divided Reactions
Another member who people believe is being mistreated is Kim Chaehyun. She ranked first in the finale of "Girls Planet 999," and people thought she was the group's center. However, people believed she did not get the appropriate amount of screentime for someone meant to be the center, and some other members, such as Shen Xiaoting and Kim Dayeon, overshadowed her.
Some comments concerning Kim Chaehyun's lack of screentime read, "Chaehyun is the most unfairly treated center in history," "I have never seen a group's center appear in the MV like that," and "So who is the center of the group?"
