Kep1er Kim Chaehyun Applauded for Outstanding Visuals and Physique
Kep1er, the girl group formed from the Mnet reality show "Girls Planet 999," officially debuted on January 3 with the lead single "WA DA DA." The nine members, who were selected through fan votes, received much attention and enthusiastic support following their debut.
Among the nine members, Kim Chaehyun is the most popular among Korean internet users. During the finale of "Girls Planet 999," Kim Chaehyun ranked first, winning the center position. However, despite being the group's center, many are not satisfied with the idol's center times and lines, with people saying she deserves more.

However, the idol still stands out on stage with her vibrant pink hair and eye-catching visuals.
During "Girls Planet 999," Kim Chaehyun became famous for being an "almost member" of aespa, as she trained under SM Entertainment for six years. She also gained attention for having visuals similar to Red Velvet's visual Irene, who is also signed under SM Entertainment.

Following Kim Chaehyun's debut, many people compared the visuals of the two. People stated that there were certain moments when she looked similar to Irene while performing.
This is not the first time she has been compared to Irene. Back in November 2021, Kim Chaehyun was seen for the first time without her bangs and wearing a beret. At the time, she went viral for looking like Irene, with people stating her visuals matched SM Entertainment's standard.

Kim Chaehyun wore leather pants and a cropped shirt that showed off her tiny waist for the performance.

Kep1er was initially scheduled to make their debut on December 14, 2021. However, their debut was postponed after a staff member tested positive for COVID-19. Kep1er officially made their debut on January 3, 2022, with the mini-album "FIRST IMPACT" and its lead single "WA DA DA."
Kep1er announced their fandom name and colors on January 3.
