Kep1er has finally announced the official name of their fans, as well as their representative colors!

Kep1er Reveals Group's Official Fandom Name and Colors

Since Kep1er's name was revealed back in October following the final broadcast of Mnet's reality survival program, "Girls Planet 999," where they also revealed the final nine members who made it in the group's debut lineup, Kep1er fans had yet to be given a name.

However, on January 3 KST, Kep1er has finally announced the official name of their fandom, as well as the group's representative colors!

 Through their social media, Kep1er revealed that the official name of their fans is "Kep1ian," pronounced as "Keplian." According to the group, the fandom name means "People who support Kep1er." They also added, "Let us make good memories with Kep1er," in their announcement.

In another tweet, they revealed that their official group colors are lavender and white, and lavender and yellow - which were the colors that was often seen during "Girls Planet 999."

Kep1er Makes Highly-Awaited Debut with 'WA DA DA'

The group, which consists of the nine contestants who ranked at the top on "Girls Planet 999," such as Kim Chaehyun, Huening Bahiyyih, Choi Yujin, Kim Dayeon, Seo Youngeun, Kang Yeseo, Ezaki Hikaru, Sakamoto Mashiro, and Shen Xiaoting, were initially scheduled to make their debut as Kep1er back on December 14, 2021 with their debut album "FIRST IMPACT."

However, due to a related staff member testing positive for COVID-19, and Kep1er members Shen Xiaoting and Sakamoto Mashiro testing positive as well, the group's debut was halted and the release of their debut album was eventually moved to January 3, 2022.

A few weeks after receiving positive test results, Shen Xiaoting and Sakamoto Mashiro made their full recovery on December 26, and preparations for their debut was under full swing.

On January 3, Kep1er finally made their highly-anticipated debut with the release of "FIRST IMPACT" and its title track "WA DA DA."

"FIRST IMPACT" consists of six tracks, including the Kep1er version of "O.O.O (Over&Over&Over)," "Shine," "Another Dream," "See the Light," "MVSK," and "WA DA DA."

Following the album's release, "FIRST IMPACT" set a new record as the best-selling debut album by a girl group in Hanteo's history after having more than 150,000 album copies sold in less than 24 hours, surpassing aespa's record for "Savage."

Prior to the album's release, "FIRST IMPACT" had also recorded more than 200,000 album pre-orders.
