On February 3, fans were taken by surprise after Dawn posted a picture of his couple ring with sweetheart HyunA through his personal Instagram account.
The photo shows Dawn presenting a wedding ring to the singer, and he publicly proposed to her by saying, "MARRY ME."
At the same time, HyunA also accepted Dawn's proposal through her own Instagram, saying, "Of course yes," and the online realm instantly went wild.
The couple will finally tie the knot after six years of dating.

In the video, HyunA and Dawn revealed their couple rings, and HyunA warmly put her hands on top of Dawn's.

In the K-pop scene, where dating publicly is a no-no for many, it remains impressive that HyunA and Dawn lasted six years, and now, they will finally exchange vows.
The two started dating in 2016, but only admitted their relationship in 2018. They were initially managed by Cube Entertainment, but they left the company after confirming they were dating.
Later on, they signed a contract with P NATION, the record label founded by PSY. In 2019, they released individual albums on the same day and event held a joint media conference to promote their new releases.

Moreover, during the 2019 press event, HyunA revealed that she and Dawn were "not quite compatible in terms of music styles." However, her thoughts seem to have changed over time.
Hyuna debuted in 2007 as a member of the JYP Entertainment group Wonder Girls. She then shifted to new idol group 4Minute in 2009 under Cube Entertainment.
