BLACKPINK Revealed to Have Almost Collaborated With Colombian Singer

YG Entertainment's four-piece girl group BLACKPINK is arguably one of the K-Pop groups artists want to collaborate with. So far, BLACKPINK has collaborated with top artists such as Lady Gaga, Selena Gomez, Dua Lipa, and Cardi B.

More recently, one Colombian singer revealed that they almost made it on the list!

Back on May 3 local time, Colombian singer Karol G, who is known for her works such as "China," "Tusa," and "Mamiii," among others, sat down with MTV to have an interview where she talked about her songs, artists, and revealed having almost collaborated with BLACKPINK. 

In her interview, Karol G was asked to name a song by someone she hopes to collaborate with, responding with BLACKPINK's "How You Like That."

She then revealed that she actually once had plans to invite BLACKPINK for a remix of her song "Tusa" with Nicki Minaj.

"I have to say a short story. When I launched 'Tusa' with Nicki Minaj, in my mind I had a remix that we never tried. If I would'vedone a remix, I would've done it with BLACKPINK," Karol G said.

Unfortunately, the remix didn't push through, with Karol G saying, "We never tried [the remix] because of COVID things. We spoke, but that would've been like, the remix of the life."

While the remix didn't happen, the Colombian singer continues to express her hopes of collaborating with BLACKPINK in the future, specifically with member Lisa.

"I would love, love, really love to work with Lisa from BLACKPINK," Karol G said.

BLACKPINK Lisa Stuns With Catwalk for CELINE's Winter 2022 Runway

In other news, BLACKPINK member Lisa has impressed many with her amazing catwalk for CELINE's Women Winter 2022 runway show.

Recently on May 4, fashion brand CELINE released a video of their Women's Winter 2022 fashion show, which features numerous models strutting down powerfully on the runway as they showcase CELINE's winter collection for this year.

More notably, Lisa, who is a global ambassador for the brand, can be seen showing off her chic catwalk and model-like proportions beginning in the 8 minute and 49 second mark.
