1. aespa announces Comeback Plans

On June 1, SM Entertainment announced that aespa will be making a comeback on July 8 with the mini-album, "GIRLS."

That same day, aespa released the pre-release single "Illusion." They will also release another pre-release all-English single, "Life's Too Short," on June 24. aespa previously performed the song on April 23 in Coachella.

aespa also signed with Warner Records for international promotions.

2. 'Queendom 2' Finale

On June 2, Mnet aired the finale of "Queendom 2" live. For this episode, all contestants performed new songs live.

In the end, WJSN was crowned the winner of "Queendom 2!" Second place went to LOONA, third place to VIVIZ, fourth place to Hyolyn, fifth place to Kep1er, and sixth place to Brave Girls.

3. ITZY Announces Comeback + World Tour

On June 2, JYP Entertainment announced ITZY's plans for a July comeback!

ITZY will be returning to the music scene on July 15 with their fifth mini-album, "CHECKMATE."

JYP Entertainment also announced that ITZY would be embarking on their first world tour, starting with a two-day concert in Seoul from August 6 to 7. They will then head to the United States for the North American leg of the tour from October to November

4. BTS to Perform in Music Shows

On June 3, it was announced that BTS would be returning to music shows after two years! The boys will be promoting their upcoming release, "Yet to Come."

The last time BTS performed on music programs was for promotions for "ON." Their subsequent releases - "Dynamite," "Life Goes On," "Butter," and "Permission to Dance" - were not promoted on music programs.

BTS will be performing on "M Countdown," "Music Bank," and "Inkigayo." However, BTS will not appear on "Music Core."
