As K-pop idols, it is only natural for them to have to perform on stage in front of hundreds to thousands of people in the audience. They have to exude high energies while singing and dancing, and they sometimes have to endure different types of problems on stage. Over the years, K-pop fans became witnesses to numerous idol accidents that happened during their performances.

Here are some of the K-pop idol stage accidents caught on camera.

1. VIVIZ SinB

In November 2016, SinB performed with her then-group GFRIEND at Jeonbuk University. During the group's performance, SinB suddenly collapsed, shocking both the audience and her fellow members. SinB had been unwell since the beginning of their performance, and she could be seen breaking out in cold sweat and having trouble standing straight.

Despite trying to remain conscious until the end, she eventually collapsed. She was immediately brought to the hospital, where they confirmed nothing was wrong with her health, and it was due to sudden dizziness.

2. Former SISTAR Bora

Back in 2010, Bora and her former group SISTAR were performing their single "Shady Girl" at the Let's Start Sharing Concert. However, due to the venue being outside, the stage became completely wet due to the pouring rain. As SISTAR continued performing on stage in heels, this led to Bora accidentally taking a heavy fall on her face. She was visibly in pain and left the event with a broken thumb and arm.

3. DIA Huihyeon

In 2016, DIA performed "Mr. Potter" at the Blue Star Concert. During the performance, Huihyeon was facing the crowd as she moved across the stage. However, she ended up falling off the stage completely. After a couple of seconds, Huihyeon can be seen getting up in pain. She returned on stage to complete the performance, but it was revealed that she suffered a broken leg and a bruised tail bone.

4. Red Velvet Joy

In another incident in 2016, Red Velvet was performing their debut song "Happiness" at a university festival. During the performance, Joy can be seen suddenly falling to the ground while grabbing her hair and ears. She stumbled, trying to get back on her feet and continue the performance despite her fellow members' protests.

As many wondered what caused the fall, many theorized that she was surprised by the air cannons. However, many believe that her earpiece electrocuted her after it malfunctioned.

5. SHA SHA Wanlin

In August 2018, now-disbanded girl group SHA SHA was holding their comeback showcase for "What The Heck," where they also introduced new member Wanlin. However, near the end of the showcase, Wanlin suddenly collapsed and lost consciousness. Staff members and the MC immediately rushed to tend to Wanlin, bringing her to the hospital.

Their label, Major Entertainment, revealed that her diagnosis was that she fainted due to a lack of blood flow to her brain. Following her diagnosis, Wanlin sat out of the group's promotions.
