On Aug. 8, one netizen created a post titled "Girls' Generation Sooyoung Who Misread the Group Chat [Message]" on the online forum TheQoo. The netizen also included a screenshot of the girl group's appearance on the said tvN variety show.

The netizen wrote, "They were supposed to dress like their 'Party' promotion. But instead, she thought that they were supposed to be dressed for a party, and she came in wearing a tailored suit."
It can be seen in the photos above and below that while the other members are wearing dresses of various colors, such as blue and white, Sooyoung is sporting a bright red suit paired with black pants.
