Girls' Generation Changes Leaders
On August 9, Girls' Generation members Tiffany and Sunny appeared on MBC Radio FM4U's "Kim Shin Young's Noon Hope Song." There, the two female idols spoke about their new album and how the group works now.
Sunny revealed that currently, Taeyeon is not the leader of Girls' Generation. Currently, it is Yoona. After revealing that Yoona is the member who talks the most in the Girls' Generation group chat, Sunny said, "She has no choice but to talk a lot. We changed the leader system and take turns this time. Yoona is good at organizing things quickly."

Tiffany stated that currently, Yoona is the leader while she and Sooyoung are co-leaders. When the promotion period neared, Girls' Generation had to decide who would organize the outfit and music show schedules.

Instead of placing all the responsibility onto one member, the girls decided to switch leaders every month. Tiffany explained that they decided on a rotational leader system so the leader does not get burned out.
Tiffany stated, "It is very efficient and is working well. This system is good since if I am having a hard time, this will help me to overcome it."

She confessed that she was the one who was burned out. As she had been working alone for a year and a half, she "couldn't come to her senses" in August. With the new leader system, Tiffany thought that Girls' Generaton "is so cool" since they created a space where they could protect and care for each other.
