Stray Kids' Cumulative Album Sales in Korea & Japan Revealed- How Many Copies Have They Sold?

On Oct. 19, several media outlets including Newsen reported the cumulative album sales that the "CASE 143" singers have recorded in their four-year career since their debut in 2018.

According to the article, Stray Kids' combined album sales in Korea and Japan have reached 10,177,913 copies. Those numbers include the sales of their 18 total albums.

From their pre-debut album "Mixtape" released in January 2018 to their latest mini-album "MAXIDENT" released on Oct. 7, 2022, the group has 13 Korean albums so far. Their cumulative shipments in South Korea are now 9,358,059 copies.

In Japan, Stray Kids has released five albums to date, from their first best album "SKZ2020" issued in March 2020 to their second mini-album "CIRCUS" dropped in June 2022. As of Oct. 4, their cumulative album sales in the country are 819,854 copies.

The eight-member boy group has been setting a new career high with every album they release since their pre-debut project "Mixtape." They started with tens of thousands of sales and now they are recording millions of copies with their recent works.

Stray Kids' notable albums so far are "NOEASY," "ODDINARY" and "MAXIDENT," each of which sold more than one million copies in South Korea alone. To recall, "NOEASY" made the group the very first JYP Entertainment artist in history to become a million-seller.

Then, with "MAXIDENT," Stray Kids became JYP's first-ever double million-seller. Remarkably, the mini-album sold over two million units just within the first week of its release. They are the only third K-pop artist to ever achieve this milestone, following BTS and SEVENTEEN. This achievement is incredibly worth noting as Stray Kids has just been in the music industry for four years.

Congratulations to Stray Kids on their blooming success!
