Although she did not directly mention Chuu and her departure, fans expressed their concern to Hyunjin and other LOONA members. They slammed Blockberry Creative for ruining the girls' friendship and seemingly making false claims that led to her expulsion.

Fans, on the other hand, plotted to boycott Blockberry Creative to stop the company from abusing and mistreating the remaining members.

Blockberry Creative's Statement Regarding Chuu's Departure

Hyunjin's messages were sent after LOONA's agency announced on Friday that Chu had been kicked out of the group.

Korea JoongAng Daily noted the legal disputes Chuu and her agency got involved in in the past months. Chuu also won a lawsuit to discontinue her exclusive contract with the company in March.

Blockberry Creative alleged that Chuu had been abusing the staff verbally and misusing her power as an idol. This reportedly caused the company to remove her from LOONA.

"However, recently, there have been reports that Chuu has been verbally abusive and misusing her power against the staff. It turned out to be true, and the agency's head is now consoling the staff members. The agency has decided to take responsibility and remove Chuu from the group. We apologize to the staff who have been greatly hurt by this incident," part of the statement said.

The company also extended its apology to the staff who allegedly became victims of Chuu's reported abuse. It also said its sorry to fans who were left shocked by the recent development.

Earlier this year, Chuu sparked rumors that she made her own company, Chuu Co., Ltd, with her mother acting as the director. OSEN reported that the company would do several works, including record production, entertainment management, concert planning business, and more.

At that time, Blockberry Creative said it was not aware of the rumors and started to look into it.
