BLACKPINK Lisa Proves Affluent Lifestyle After Showing VVIP Black Card

On February 1, BLACKPINK Lisa's wealthy status drew massive attention as fans recognized the idol's special credit card following a clip.

Recently, Jisoo published a vlog on her personal YouTube channel wherein she was seen alongside Lisa strolling around the Christmas market in Cologne, Germany. When the idols bought liquor, Lisa pulled out her wallet to pay for it.

According to Korean media outlets, Lisa owned Hyundai Card's "The Black Edition 3," which is Korea's first VVIP card. It was initially launched in 2005, while Edition 2 was unveiled in 2017, followed by Edition 3 in October 2022.

The annual fee is 2.5 million won (about 2k USD), the most expensive in Korea. Strictly 1,000 people can only receive its issuance, who are usually the 0.05% of Korean people with top-tier social status and economic ability.

Regardless of wealth, people can only get it with an invitation selected through unanimous approval from Hyundai's committee.

Hyundai's Vice Chairman Chung stated that above assets and income, they also consider people who are well-respected in each field.

BLACKPINK Lisa Purchases 7.5B KRW Luxury Villa

Amid discussion on Lisa's VVIP black card, the idol also gained attention after it was reported that she purchased a new house.

On the same day, it was announced by various media outlets that the "MONEY" singer succeeded in purchasing a detached house in Seongbuk-dong where a chaebol family lived for 7.5 billion won ($6 million).

The luxury villa has a floor space of 689.2㎡ and 208.48 pyeong, located in Seongbuk-dong, Seoul. The house has been inhabited by Jang Sun Yoon, the granddaughter of the late former Lotte Group honorary chairman Shin Kyukho, and Lotte New York Palace executive vice president.

Lisa reportedly signed the detached house in July last year and paid the balance earlier this year, successfully making the purchase.

Previously, Lisa had suffered a 1 billion won ($820k) loss in real estate fraud when her former manager at the time promised the idol to find her real estate in Korea on her behalf.

Mr. A is known to have been a manager with BLACKPINK since its debut and has been trusted by the company and its members. However, the trust was broken after it was revealed that the manager used the idol's money for gambling. After the fact became known, he quit YG Entertainment.
