BIGBANG G-Dragon Signs Immediately with Galaxy Corporation After Leaving YG Entertainment

On December 21, G-Dragon has officially signed an exclusive contract with Galaxy Corporation after leaving his longtime agency YG Entertainment. The announcement was made at a press conference held by the agency despite G-Dragon's absence from the meeting.

Jo Sung Hae, director of Galaxy Corporation, shared that G-Dragon and the company have agreed to an exclusive contract.

The director relayed that G-Dragon, also known as Kwon Ji Yong, will be a partner to Galaxy and tackle endeavors in the future with the company. Jo Sung Hae also assured everyone that G-Dragon would be showing new sides of him as an artist.

"An exclusive contract was signed between Galaxy Corporation and G-Dragon. Kwon Ji Yong and Galaxy Corporation plan to go beyond the relationship of a simple agency and will challenge what has never been done in the world before by partners and companions."

"In order to go where others have gone before, we plan to fulfill each other's gap, and by doing this, it will allow Kwon Ji Yong to show sides of himself that we have not seen in the past."

Jo Sung Hae also addressed the delay in announcing the exclusive contract signing. The director explained that the agency was only waiting for YG Entertainment to release an announcement of G-Dragon's contract status. Furthermore, Jo Sung Hae expressed gratitude to YG Entertainment.

"We were waiting for the official position of G-Dragon's former agency YG Entertainment. Thankfully, yesterday, the former agency told us that they have sent their blessing to Kwon Jiyong and wished him the best in the future."

"We would like to express our sincere gratitude to YG Entertainment. Because of them, the Kwon Ji Young exists now. Galaxy Corporation will do its best to continue the path of glory that YG and G-Dragon walked through without neglect."

G-Dragon Confirms Comeback in 2024, VIPs Ecstatic Over Idol's Reveal

At the press conference, Jo Sung Hae revealed G-Dragon's plans saying, "In 2024, G-Dragon will make a comeback."

G-Dragon then uploaded a new post on his official Instagram account which celebrated his inclusion in Galaxy Corporation, sparking enthusiastic reactions online.
