THEBLACKLABEL confirmed on October 8 that producers Kush and VVN will marry on October 11 in a private ceremony. The couple, who publicly acknowledged their relationship in July 2016, had been together for nine years before deciding to tie the knot.

Kush, whose legal name is Kim Byung-hoon and who is 41 years old, began his music career in 2003 as part of the reggae duo Stony Skunk. After the group disbanded, he transitioned into composing music in 2007 and went on to craft hit tracks for major artists under YG Entertainment, including Big Bang, G-Dragon, and 2NE1. More recently, he co-wrote and composed "Soda Pop" for the Netflix animated film "K-Pop Demon Hunters," showcasing his continued influence in both K-pop and global streaming content.

VVN, born Cha Hyun-jung and 31 years old, entered the public eye in 2015 after winning first place in the CéCi Magazine model contest. She is widely known as the cousin of Girls' Generation member Yuri, and she expanded her portfolio by serving as a music producer on Mnet's audition program "I-Land 2" last year. Under THEBLACKLABEL, VVN has contributed to productions for emerging acts, including work on the girl group izna.

Their agency statement asked for understanding that no further details about the wedding would be disclosed. Industry observers note that both Kush and VVN have built reputations for their behind-the-scenes creativity and for helping shape THEBLACKLABEL's identity as an artist-driven label since its founding in 2015.

Fans and colleagues alike have offered congratulations across social media platforms, reflecting the couple's respected status within the music community. Fellow producers Teddy Park and Vince, along with artists under the label such as Jeon Somi and Rosé, have joined the chorus of well-wishers amid anticipation for the private ceremony.

Kush and VVN's announcement marks a rare moment in the often-private world of K-pop production, bringing personal milestones into the spotlight. Their decade-long relationship, both personal and professional, underscores the close-knit nature of creative collaboration at THEBLACKLABEL.

As they prepare to exchange vows next Saturday, the industry looks forward to celebrating a partnership that has quietly influenced some of the genre's most defining sounds over the past decade.
