MBC releases still image of ‘Missing Nine;’ showing good chemistry between Baek Jin-Hee, Jung Kyoung-Ho
MBC new drama “Missing Nine” shows a good chemistry between two cast members Baek Jin-Hee and Jung Kyoung-Ho among the nine stranded survivors of the plane crash. The drama is scheduled to air January 2017.
“Missing Nine” follows the story of nine people from one entertainment agency who flew in a private plane. In the midst of their journey, the plane crash into the ocean and the nine passengers swam to the nearby remote island. Due to the high profile of some passengers in the entertainment industry, the missing creates a panic in Korea.
In order to promote the drama, MBC has released several teaser images from the shooting location in Jeju island. In one of the pictures, there is a hint of a romantic relationship between two passengers, Ra Bong-Hee played by Baek and Seo Joon-Wo (Jung). According to the official release from MBC, there will be unpredictable story in their relationship which will be revealed later in the drama.
In the drama Joon-Wo is a former Hallyu star whose popularity is decreasing. While Ra Bong-Hee is his hairstylist who just start her first day at work when the plane crash. The still imaga also show they created a special bond and working together to survive.
In another teaser image, actor Choi Tae-Joon who played the rival of Jung’s character in the agency has also become the main attraction. He is depicted as a selfish individual according to Seoul Daily News. He only thinks about himself and never care about other people even when they are all stranded in the island
Four months after the crash, Bong-Hee becomes the sole survivor while the rest of the group were dead. She became the only witness who recount the incident.
