SEVENTEEN Dominates Sales, Viewing Records On Domestic, International Charts

SEVENTEEN is making a killing in domestic and international charts with their latest comeback "Al1" as it breaks its own sales records and enters the charts of multiple countries worldwide. The K-pop group is making waves in the Hanteo sales charts and is also receiving positive reviews for their title track "Don't Wanna Cry."

According to a report by Soompi, SEVENTEEN broke its own sales performance in the Hanteo sales chart as it managed to sell 80,000 units of their comeback album "Al1" in three days since it was released May 22. This was a major step up from the group's previous mini album which sold 50,000 units for three days.

This was also the case of SEVENTEEN's title track "Don't Wanna Cry" which has been viewed close to 4.5 million times within two days compared to their previous title track "BOOMBOOMBOOM" which was only viewed 3.7 million times in 48 hours. SEVENTEEN's "AI1" also topped the iTunes of Indonesia, Kyrgyzstan, the Philippines and Singapore and made it to the top 10 Japan, Vietnam, and Hong Kong. The album is also charting well in the US and Canada.

SEVENTEEN has expressed excitement over their comeback album's success and said that their entire album can be described in a single word, which is "effort." The K-pop group received much praise after fans witnessed their hard work in coming up with the MV for "Don't Wanna Cry" when the BTS footage was released, Naver reported.

However, SEVENTEEN fans expressed worry over its member Joshua after the video showing him suffering bruises and scrapes while practicing the dance steps for the video. It can be recalled that the "Don't Wanna Cry" MV featured some complicated choreography that required the members to kneel on the ground. To this, Joshua assured that he's totally fine and doesn't hurt anymore.
