Recently, the rumors of BLACKPINK's Jennie being a perpetrator of school bullying resurfaced on the popular online community site, Pann Nate, back on August 17, with numerous posts being made about it, KBIZOOM reported.

Back in September 2012, when Jennie was still a trainee at YG Entertainment, she became embroiled in a controversy after she was accused of bullying her classmates and allegedly showing racism towards other Asians during her time in New Zealand.

The person who made the accusation also revealed other information about Jennie, such as her staying at a Korean friend's house, returning to South Korea to audition for YG Entertainment in 2010, as well as sharing Jennie's yearbook photo.

The school bullying allegations were later refuted by fans and testimonies from Jennie's former classmates.

In the post made on August 17, the writer of the post shared a screenshot of a text message that reveals someone had recently filed a complaint to the police station against the BLACKPINK member for school bullying. The post also shares accusations about Jennie, such as being able to enter YG Entertainment due to her family's money and rumors about her "true" personality - which included often bossing fellow BLACKPINK member Jisoo around.

However, netizens have mixed reactions regarding the accusations. Many have also come to Jennie's defense, saying that the rumors were fabricated to defame her.

In fact, rumors of Jennie committing school violence have resurfaced multiple times over the years. Back when she made her debut in 2016, the rumors resurfaced online. In July 2020, the rumor of Jennie bullying her classmate in New Zealand resurfaced on Chinese social media.

The latest mention of Jennie's alleged bullying was earlier this year in February, when Youtube channel Garo Sero Institute mentioned Jennie's "bullying incident."

Garo Sero Institute's Kim Yong Ho claims to have full evidence of Jennie's school bullying and shares that a witness named "Kang," who used to accuse the BLACKPINK member, revealed they were pressured by YG Entertainment. Kim Yong Ho also claims that the posts that had "exposed" Jennie were deleted by YG Entertainment to hide the controversy.

Meanwhile, many netizens believe the issue should be re-investigated and encourage witnesses with relevant information to come forward and that Jennie should withdraw from the group due to her past controversies as well. While others believe that the rumors are false.
