On April 7, HYBE Labels revealed the teaser for LE SSERAFIM member Kim Chaewon. Many are happy that she is confirmed as a member of the group. However, eagle-eyed internet users noticed how similar certain scenes in the video are to an existing music video.

In Kim Chaewon's introduction video, the LE SSERAFIM leader is seen with short hair, showing off a liberal, sexy style and flaunting eye-catching charisma.

The video received divided opinions, and people soon suspected HYBE Labels plagiarized some scenes of the video from The Rolling Stone's music video for "Ride 'Em Down."

In one scene, Kim Chaewon is seen wearing a white crop top, a black leather skirt and shades. The idol walks into a gas station and suddenly starts impromptu dancing.

This is similar to a scene in the "Ride 'Em Down" music video, where lead actress Kristen Stewart is seen suddenly dancing in a gas station.

As the video has such obvious similarities to The Rolling Stone music video, people wonder if the introduction was meant to pay homage to "Ride 'Em Down" or a poor attempt at plagiarism.

Many noted that this image did not match Kim Chaewon. It was unfair that they tried to make her appear like Kristen Stewart. People were hopeful that HYBE Labels would allow Kim Chaewon to maintain the image she had in IZ*ONE.
