GOT7 Youngjae's 'SUGAR' Breaks Personal Record for First-Day Sales
On June 21, Youngjae made his first solo comeback with his mini-album "SUGAR." The music video for the title song of the same name was also released on that day.

Consisting of lyrics by GOT7 member Youngjae, "SUGAR" is a pop-dance track that highlights the singer's sweet vocals and compares an addictive love to an addiction to sugar. In addition to "SUGAR," the mini-album also consists of four B-side songs.
At 4:30 p.m. KST on the 21st, the mini-album already sold a total of 29,578 copies. It went on to sell 38,203 copies by the end of the day. Youngjae's "SUGAR" almost doubled the idol's previous first-day sales record of 19,718 copies set by his debut album "COLORS from Ars."

Youngjae’s “SUGAR” Sets GOT7 Member’s New Personal Record for First-Day Sales
Among the solo albums released by the GOT7 members, "SUGAR" now has the second-biggest first-day sales, bested only by BamBam's "riBBon," which sold 53,404 copies on June 15, 2021.
It is also worth noting that the first-day sales figure of Youngjae's "SUGAR" is just 7,730 copies less than the first-week sales of "COLORS from Ars" (45,933 copies).
As the GOT7 member still has six days to go before his official first-week sales period ends, it remains to be just how much higher the sales will increase over the following days.

GOT7 Youngjae's 'SUGAR' Debuts on Korean Music Charts, iTunes Charts
Shortly after its release, GOT7 Youngjae's second mini-album and its title song entered various Korean music charts and iTunes charts.

At 7 p.m. KST, "SUGAR" debuted at No. 71 on Bugs and No. 135 on Genie. The song then rose to No. 1 on Genie on June 22 at midnight KST and remained atop the chart until 1 a.m. KST.
Additionally, the title song landed at No. 11 and No. 58 on the Worldwide iTunes Song Chart and the European iTunes Song Chart, respectively. The "SUGAR" album also entered at No. 2 on the Worldwide iTunes Album Chart and No. 5 on the European iTunes Album Chart.

Youngjae’s “SUGAR” Sets GOT7 Member’s New Personal Record for First-Day Sales
In the United States, GOT7 Youngjae's second mini-album debuted at No. 26 on the iTunes Album Chart and later peaked at No. 15.
At approximately 4:35 a.m. KST on June 2022, "SUGAR" has reached No. 1 on iTunes Album charts in at least 20 countries, including Argentina, Chile, El Salvador, Malaysia, Singapore, Peru, Turkey, Costa Rica, Hong Kong, and more.
The title track has scored No. 1 on iTunes Song charts in 13 countries, such as Colombia, Guatemala, Paraguay, Qatar, Thailand, Saudi Arabia, Ecuador, and others.

Meanwhile, Youngjae's "SUGAR" music video is about to reach 760,000 views. It currently has over 758,000 views and 67,000 likes.
On June 23, the GOT7 member will perform "SUGAR" on Mnet's "M Countdown." He will also appear on the June 26 episode of SBS's "Inkigayo."
Besides performing on music shows, Youngjae has other schedules, such as hosting his own radio show, "Youngjae's Best Friend," appearing on MBC's "King of Mask Singer," and holding a video call event.
Then, on July 23, the "NANANA" singer will hold a "SUGAR" fansign event in the Philippines at the New Frontier Theater in Manila City.
