Ahgase Wins Lottery With Numbers Selected by GOT7 Youngjae
On September 5, a Thai iGOT7 (also known as Ahgase) revealed that she won the lottery through her Twitter account. In their tweet, they thanked Youngjae for the numbers and revealed that they were able to win the lottery because of him.
They added that if Youngjae were ever to visit Thailand, where the user lives, they would be willing to pay to share a meal with the male idol.

The fan won third place in the lottery and won 1,097,911 KRW. In Thai baht, this is equal to 714,793.67.
Previously, GOT7 member Youngjae recommended seven numbers, as well as a few bonus numbers, through the fandom platform Universe. The fan had consistently been trying out these numbers in the lottery and ultimately ended up winning money.

The good news spread from Twitter to various South Korean online community forums that same day. Many people who saw the post expressed their surprise. Some expressed envy over the fan who won the lottery, while others commented on how lucky both Youngjae and the fan must be. Many even joked that they would try to ask Youngjae for the lottery numbers as well!

The news also reached Youngjae. On September 5, the idol took to Twitter to reveal his surprise over the unexpected situation. His first tweet reads, "What is happening?"

He soon follows up that tweet with, "You won third place? Anyway, congratulations, Ahgase. As long as you are happy, it is good!"

The fan also saw his tweet and quote-tweeted it. She thanked the idol for his word and stated that she will save the money to buy his album and that she is waiting for his future solo releases.

GOT7 Youngjae Recent Activities
From May 1 to July 25, Youngjae starred in the musical "Midnight Sun," playing the lead role of Ha Ram. "Meet Me When the Sun Goes Down," a song from the musical, was released on April 9 as part 1 of the musical's soundtrack. He then released "Good-bye Days" with Lovelyz member Kei on June 7.
On April 1, Youngjae was selected as a campaign artist for Levi's Red along with former PRISTIN member Lim Nayoung. He took part in the Levi's 501 Day Music Concert on April 20.
