Ahead of their comeback showcase for their new mini album, girl group fromis_9 were involved in a car accident that injured several members. The group's agency announced the cancellation of their comeback showcase in light of this.

fromis_9's Comeback Showcase Cancelled After Members Were Injured in Car Accident
Recently on June 26, fromis_9's agency Pledis Entertainment announced that five of the nine group members were injured in the car accident.
According to Pledis Entertainment, members Park Jiwon, Song Hayoung, Lee Chaeyoung, Lee Seoyeon, and Baek Jiheon had suffered an injury as a result of the car accident on June 25.

Fortunately, the remaining four fromis_9 members and the other passengers in the car had only sustained minor injuries. But with the car accident, the attending doctors had adviced all of the group members to limit their physical activity and to carefully monitor their condition as they undergo treatment for their bruises and muscle pain over the next few days.
As a result of the car accident and as per the doctor's advice, Pledis Entertainment announced that fromis_9's media showcase and fan showcase for their upcoming comeback, which were initially set to be held on June 27, have been cancelled.

However, the release of fromis_9's upcoming and fifth mini album "from our Memento Box" will still be releasing according to its schedule on June 27 at 6pm KST.
In addition, Pledis Entertainment states that it is still unclear whether members Park Jiwon, Song Hayoung, Lee Chaeyoung, Lee Seoyeon, and Baek Jiheon will be able to perform the choreographies on stage during the promotions for their comeback.
In light of this, there may be further changes to fromis_9's schedule depending on the members' progress in their recovery.

"Hello. This is Pledis Entertainment.
We would like to share with you information on the health status of some of the fromis_9 members and their future schedule.
Song Hayoung, Park Jiwon, Lee Seoyeon, Lee Chaeyoung, and Baek Jiheon were involved in a car accident on Saturday, June 25. Fortunately, the injury of the members and the other passengers in the car was not serious, and all of them were immediately taken to the emergency room for a medical examination and treatment.
The five members received a more thorough examination on Sunday, June 26. They were advised by doctors that they should continue to receive medical treatment for their muscle pain and bruises, although it has been confirmed they have no fractures. The doctors also provided opinions that the members' physical condition should be monitored attentively and they should refrain from increasing their amount of activities more than necessary for the next few days.
On this matter, we would like to inform you that fromis_9's fifth mini album 'from our Memento Box' will be released as schedule on Monday, June 27. However, for the fromis_9 members' safety, the media showcase and fan showcase schedule on June 27 will not continue. We ask for your kind understanding from all fans and members of the press.
Our company has decided to respent and follow the advice of medical staff to place the members' speedy recovery as a top priority and adjust the group's future activities and schedules accordingly. Please note that depending on Song Hayoung, Park Jiwon, Lee Seoyeon, Lee Chaeyoung, and Baek Jiheon's recovery status, their future schedule will be arranged with a lot of flexibility and they may not be able to perform the choreography on stage.
