Ryan Gosling is getting hotter by the day, but he isn't very showy about it. He even skipped SAG Awards red carpet when he turned up to support "The Big Short". Maybe Ryan Gosling is trying to hide the fact Eva Mendes, the engagement ring and their wedding plans.

"The 35-year-old actor decided to skip the red carpet, but he looked dashing in his tux while posing for pictures inside the venue. Ryan was nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture for his work in The Big Short, but the cast lost to Spotlight."

Ryan Gosling "can handle" a lot of things - rearing his baby girl, marriage pressure coming from Eva Mendes and the Oscar snub for his performance in "The Big Short" - but it looks like he can't handle SAG Awards red carpet pressures!

But "The Big Short" actor is stepping up to all the more important aspects of his life.

"My biggest investment is my family. I'm with the person I'm supposed to be with," he said according to the Hamilton Spectator. "I'm not looking for anything else beyond Eva - and I feel very lucky that we have a beautiful, healthy daughter, who is an angel. That's investment enough for me."

He added, "Being a dad isn't rocket science - I can handle it."

Sounds like "The Big Short" actor has enough confidence to move on from Oscar snub as well as many more challenges and blessings in his life.

As for Eva Mendes and her engagement ring, that might have already happened and that the wedding plans are underway.

"If there isn't an engagement ring for Eva Mendes under the Christmas tree this year, then Ryan Gosling is spending the holiday alone! The actress has given her baby daddy until Christmas to propose because she's waited long enough to have a ring on her finger!" according to OK! Magazine.
