''The popular character of Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel will reportedly make an appearance in the next Avengers movie before getting her own solo film'' reported DNA. It was also revealed that by this year November, Marvel Cinematic Universe, the makers of ''Captain Marvel'' will make the final selection for the cast of Carol Danvers.

''The Captain Marvel cast is nearly complete after Benedict Cumberbatch joined to play the role of Doctor Strange in the first female-led Marvel superhero film since Elektra in 2005. On the other hand, DC Comics' Wonder Woman, scheduled for release in 2017, will be the first female-led DC Comics superhero film since Catwoman in 2004. So after a long period of waiting, it finally looks as though a few more female-led superhero movies could follow'' clarified the article on Inquisitr.

Have Sienna Miller, Charlize Theron, Maika Monroe, Katee Sackhoff, Olivia Wilde, Ronda Rousey, Katheryn Winnick, Bryce Dallas Howard, Rebecca Ferguson, Brie Larson, Jessica Chastain and Emily Blunt have lost the battle to bag the role of Carol Danvers?
