G-Dragon reaches 11 million followers on Instagram, posts hint at Big Bang's Comeback

To all the V.I.P.s out there, Big Bang's G-Dragon has just reached 11 million followers on Instagram further cementing his status as the 'king of Instagram' in South Korea. This achievement is an addition to his many milestones as a highly respected artist and while it may not be the highlight of his career, it certainly is warming to know that a lot of people, 11 million to be exact, are interested in seeing updates from the singer-rapper via Instagram.

Based on reports from Allkpop, G-Dragon is currently the most followed Kpop artist on Instagram and this achievement alone is a testament to his considerable influence not only in the Kpop scene but also throughout the world. His fame and success is mostly owed to his affiliation with the Kpop group Big Bang.

Debuting in 2006, the group is celebrating their 10 years in the industry. In a span of a decade, Big Bang has become one of the most respected artists in South Korea. They are style icons and musical innovators whose success is 'not born from talent but from effort' as stated by G-Dragon himself.

Big Bang has been known as the 'kings of Kpop' and the first Koreans to enter Forbes Celebrity 100. Their popularity has led The Washington Post to call them the biggest band in Asia while the Hollywood Reporter dubs them as the biggest boy band in the world. G-Dragon himself has been cited as one of the 50 Reasons Why Seoul is the Best City by CNN.

So it's not really surprising to know that GD's Instagram has reached 11 million followers and honestly, you can only expect more followers in the future. Fans do love to stay updated with their idols and G-Dragon's fans aren't an exception. Social media has become the number 1 platform that celebrities and artists use to stay in touch with their fans even when they're not so active and in G-Dragon's IG account it would seem that the BigBang member loves to tease his fans.

About 4 days ago, G-Dragon posted a photo of black hair with red highlights which is reminiscent to his hairstyle in their song Fantastic Baby. The post has led the fans to assume that the group would soon make a part 2 of the song but nothing regarding the matter is confirmed as of yet.

However, what is sure is that Big Bang will be making a November comeback. According to Soompi, the band had already finished filming a music video for one of their songs and this has been confirmed by YG Entertainment.

Furthermore, G-Dragon and the other members of Big Bang have been recently posting photos of rundown buildings on each of their own social media accounts. It can be assumed that the buildings are where the group had filmed their music video.

Fans are already reeling with excitement for Big Bang's return. But for those who can't seem to wait a bit longer, why not stalk their social media accounts instead? Better yet, why not binge watch all of their awesome music videos?
