It's been months since the conclusion of the phenomenal TV series that swept the whole of Asia but the stars of "Descendants of the Sun" still haven't the limelight. In fact, it seems that news regarding lead actors Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo won't seem to die down especially in regards to their relationship status.

For the last few months, rumors about their developing relationship just kept on coming and as the days passed, these rumors just kept on spreading. In fact, last October, it was claimed that the Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo have gone on vacation together while there are others who claimed that they had secretly gotten married. Some even claimed that the actress is pregnant with Song Joong Ki's child, ChatSportsNet reports. AS outrageous as it may sound, there are actually a number of people who believe these rumors.

The couple has constantly denied any rumors linking them together romantically, dismissing themselves as merely "good friends" and confidants. However, people seemed to have a difficult time accepting this as they continue to spread and believe the rumors that they hear. Well, fans can't blame them - social media is quite a powerful platform.

As absurd as these rumors may be, one cannot help but deem them a testament to the wonderful chemistry that the two shared in their hit TV show and seeing them not together in real life is truly quite disappointing. People would rather indulge themselves in illusions created by the media than accept what may be the truth.

But as of late, things may have taken a turn for the rumor mill as it is now claimed that Song Joong Ki is actually gay and is only using Song Hye Kyo as a front to cover up his homosexuality. If you think the rumors couldn't get more absurd, it just did! According to SportsRageous, it was claimed that while "Descendants" were filming, Song Joong Ki engraved his best friend's name, Lee Kwang Soo, on a stone and that the actor himself preferred the company of men.

The actor's agency of course quickly dismissed those rumors saying how they were "actually laughing about it." Song Joong Ki points out that people should just focus on the way he acts and not who he wants to be with.

If there is one thing that may be a possibility, it is Descendants of the Sun 2. However, nothing has been confirmed as of late.
