DSP Media's MIRAE Reveals Second MV Teaser for Debut Song "KILLA"

On March 16, DSP Media's new group has dropped another teaser video for their first single "KILLA," which serves as the title track of their debut album that has the same name as the song. The second MV teaser reveals the futuristic concept of MIRAE's official music video.

The "KILLA" teaser video starts with the seven MIRAE members sporting black elegant attires as they walk towards each other. The clip then shows some futuristic scenes and the boy group's powerful choreography alternately.

While it is only a 19-second MV teaser, it was already enough to hype up the fans about their official debut on March 17. Many fans expressed their excitement and showed their support in the comment section of the video on YouTube, as well as in other social media accounts of the new K-pop group.

On the same day of MIRAE's debut, the new K-pop group will hold an online debut showcase at 8 p.m. KST, and it will be broadcasted via the band's V LIVE channel.

MIRAE Shares Album Spoiler for Debut Album "KILLA"

One day before the second MV teaser was revealed, DSP Media's MIRAE dropped an album spoiler for their first mini-album "KILLA." It is like the highlight medley of the tracks included in their debut album, which allows fans to get an idea as to what the songs will sound like. Below is the album spoiler that presents 25 seconds each of MIRAE's six songs: "We Are Future," "KILLA," "Higher," "Swagger." "Sweet Dreams," and "1 Thing."

Based on the tracklist unveiled beforehand, MIRAE's Khael participated in writing lyrics for two tracks: "Swagger" and "Sweet Dreams," his bandmate Lien also took part in the lyric-writing for "Sweet Dreams."

New K-pop Group MIRAE Joins Weverse Ahead of Debut

On the same day the album spoiler for MIRAE's "KILLA" was released, it was announced that the new K-pop group will be opening a Weverse community. Launched by Big Hit Entertainment and beNX, the Weverse application is a global K-pop fan community platform where artists and fans will be able to communicate with one another directly.

Fans can also expect various content from MIRAE on the platform. Other features of the application include the official Weverse Shop where official goods featuring K-pop artists are being sold, video streaming services, and more.

Meanwhile, MIRAE is made up of seven members, namely Si Young, Jun Hyuk, Son Dong Pyo, Lien, Yu Bin, Yoo Dou Hyun, and Khael. This is the first K-pop group to debut under DSP Media after almost four years since KARD's debut in July 2017. Moreover, MIRAE will be the fourth artist the company will manage, along with solo artist Heo Youngji and K-pop groups APRIL and KARD.

One of the members of MIRAE, particularly Son Dong Pyo, is already famous among K-pop fans as he was initially part of the now-disbanded boy group, X1.
