Pledis Entertainment Obtains Management Rights to fromis_9
On the morning of August 16, KST, Pledis Entertainment, home to groups SEVENTEEN and NU'EST, announced on their social media that fromis_9, the debut group of the Mnet reality survival show "Idol School," will now be managed by the label.
fromis_9 was originally managed by Stone Entertainment, and later transferred to Off The Record Entertainment, a label established by Stone Entertainment in 2018.

Pledis Entertainment said in a statement that they will be managing fromis_9 and its nine members: Jang Gyuri, Lee Sae Rom, Park Ji Won, Song Ha Young, Lee Chae Young, Roh Ji Sun, Lee Seo Yeon, Baek Ji Heon, and Lee Na Gyung.
They also share that Off The Record Entertainment, fromis_9, and Pledis Entertainment have mutually decided to transfer the management rights of the nine-member group to Pledis Entertainment after having an in-depth discussion on the future and growth of fromis_9 during the group's former label, Off The Record Entertainment's structural reorganization.

Despite the change in management, fromis_9 will still continue with their usual activities, considering that Pledis Entertainment has also been producing the group's music since their debut until now.
"We are very happy to have this opportunity to work with fromis_9. We promise to provide our full support to fromis_9 to ensure that they can meet fans through more active and diverse activities so that they can grow further as artists," said the group's new management label.
Pledis Entertainment also asks fans to continue supporting the group as they begin a new path with the label.

Who is fromis_9?
fromis_9 is a nine-member girl group that was formed through the Mnet reality survival show, "Idol School," back in 2017. The group consists of Lee Sae Rom, Song Ha Young, Jang Gyu Ri, Roh Ji Sun, Lee Na Gyung, Park Ji Won, Lee Chae Young, Lee Seo Yeon, and Baek Ji Heon.

fromis_9 made their debut in January 2018 with their mini-album, "To. Heart.," with its lead single "To Heart." Prior to their debut, however, the group released a pre-debut single called "Glass Shoes" and was able to perform it at the 2017 Mnet Asian Music Awards in Japan.
Since then, the group went on to release more albums and singles, such as "To.Day," "From.9," "Fun Factory," "My Little Society," and "9 Way Ticket."
The group also appeared in their own reality show "Channel_9."
