On September 17, GOT7 Youngjae released a teaser video that reveals his solo debut through his official YouTube channel.

Youngjae is also known by fans with his producer name Ars. He will release his first mini-album "COLORS from Ars" on October 5 at 6 PM (KST). This will mark GOT7 Youngjae solo debut, and his first musical release since departing from his previous agency JYP Entertainment last January.
Now, he is under Sublime Artist Agency, together with fellow GOT7 member Jackson Wang and RAIN.

GOT7 Youngjae Solo Debut Teaser Video Exudes Moody, Sensuous Ambiance
In his solo debut teaser video, GOT7 Youngjae is seen thinking about something while writing and erasing some English words on a blank piece of paper. His chic mood and sensuous styling were felt despite the 50-second length of the clip.
The teaser also caught the viewers' eyes with the album title "COLORS from Ars" seen at the end of the video, which left a strong impression by giving a contrasting meaning with the video's black and white theme.
As of writing, the teaser video now has over fifty thousand views and is increasing every hour.
GOT7 Youngjae's pseudonym Ars originated from the Latin saying "Ars longa, vita brevis," meaning, "art is long and life is short." It also contained the meaning of giftedness.
Ars specifically means that Youngjae wants to become a wonderful person who creates art.

GOT7 Youngjae Singing and Acting Career
GOT7 Youngjae has proven his musical talent not only as GOT7 main vocalist, but also with his superb skills in songwriting and composing. Interest and anticipation for his future as a solo artist is now increasing.
Youngjae is the last GOT7 member to release new music this year since leaving JYP Entertainment, after Jinyoung, Jackson Wang, BamBam, Yugyeom, and Jay B released theirs.
Mark, on the other hand, had collaborations with multiple artists. He collaborated with Korean soloist BIBI for "Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings" OST "Never Gonna Come Down."
In June, GOT7 Youngjae starred in Netflix's Korean sitcom "So Not Worth It" alongside (G)I-DLE Minnie and more. He also performed the song "Meet Me When The Sun Goes Down" in the romance musical "Midnight Sun."
Other details of GOT7 Youngjae solo debut album "COLOR from Ars" will be released consecutively through Youngjae's official SNS channel.
