BTS V Expresses His Fury over His Latest Dating Rumors via Weverse
BTS V has indirectly addressed his dating rumors with the daughter of a company, Paradise Group, via Weverse.
On Oct. 14, a rumor made rounds online that Kim Taehyung (BTS V's real name) is in a relationship with the daughter of Phillip Chun (Paradise Group's chairman) and Choi Yoon Jung (Paradise Culture Foundation's chairman).
On the same day, BTS V's management agency, HYBE, issued a short statement to deny the dating rumors and said that the male idol and Chairwoman Choi Yoon Jung's family are just acquaintances.

On Oct. 15, BTS V personally spoke up about the rumors via the fan community platform and expressed his rage about the issue.

One of his posts says, "I will shoot poisoned needles at the back of their necks in my dream tonight. Watch the back of your necks. Puk Puk." "Puk Puk" is an onomatopoeic word to represent the sound of a needle shot.

And Kim Taehyung's other post reads, "Pathetic. I would like to sing 'UGH'."
For beginners, "UGH" is one of the B-sides from BTS's 2020 album "MAP OF THE SOUL: 7" and it is a rap song that uses wordplay to show anger towards evil and injustice.
The song title "UGH" also has a double meaning as the Korean title "욱" symbolizes the burst of anger or temper and the English term "Ugh" is used to convey annoyance and frustration over something.

BTS V Continues to be the No. 1 Most Popular Male Idol in Japan
In other news, Kim Taehyung is consistently dominating the "K-pop Male Idol Ranking" on the popular Japanese idol ranking site "Nehan."
From Oct. 4 to 10, Nehan conducted new voting round to determine the recent most popular male idol in the country.

BTS V once again took the No. 1 spot after obtaining 21,173 votes. He has now spent 28 consecutive weeks atop the rankings, breaking his own record for the male idol with the most No. 1s on Nehan.
In the same week, V received 16,680 votes in the "20 Korean Actors Ranking" on "Bihan," a popular ranking site for Japanese Korean actors. The K-pop idol has ranked first in this category for 22 weeks in a row.
Despite having only one drama appearance, so far, Kim Taehyung is recognized as one of the most promising actors in his twenties. And, many people are still hoping to see him star in more dramas.

On "K-POP JUICE," which deals with K-pop idol popularity rankings and audition information in Japan, BTS V also took first place in daily, weekly, and monthly rankings.
Furthermore, Kim Taehyung placed first in Japan's most popular male idol on Japan's "Ranking," a popular voting site that reflects real-time trends. A few of the keywords related to the idol were "the most handsome Korean idol," "Favorite BTS member," and "The most handsome Bangtan Boys member."
