Park Myung Soo Slammed for Mentioning Past Issue With TWICE Dahyun and Tzuyu During Radio Show

On November 17, Park Myung Soo drew backlash following TWICE members Dahyun and Tzuyu's appearance on his radio program, "Park Myung Soo's Radio Show." The two idols appeared on the program to promote their album "Formula of Love: O+T=<3" and the title track "SCIENTIST."

Park Myung Soo was slammed for asking several sensitive questions to the female idols, putting them in an awkward position. Some of the questions he asked the two concerned the chart performance of "SCIENTIST." He also asked the idols if they would wait for their boyfriends if they took their mandatory military enlistment.

Now, Park Myung Soo is under fire for referencing his past scandal on the show.

On December 14, Davichi appeared as guests on "Park Myung Soo's Radio Show" to promote their song "Everyday Christmas." During the show, when asked why they wanted to make a comeback, Davichi revealed they wanted to release their own Christmas song.

Park Myung Soo then said, "Releasing a Christmas song is difficult due to seasonal limitation. I should not have mentioned digital charts because of the misunderstanding that happened last time. But do you expect your new song to top the charts?"

This led the duo to ask why rankings should not be mentioned cautiously. Park Myung Soo immediately avoided answering directly and only said, "Please check on the internet." Kang Min Kyung then explained that it did very well on the charts when the song was first released, but the ranking started to drop little by little over time.

Park Myung Soo earned backlash for referencing his past issue with Dahyun and Tzuyu, wondering why he felt the need to mention it with other guests. Others found it strange that Park Myung Soo was still "stuck" on the issue when most people had already started to forget about it.

Some of the comments concerning Park Myung Soo's statement include, "But isn't it a bit awkward to bring this up all of a sudden? People were already starting to forget," "But why did you light up the issue again?" and "Why did he have to say it again? It is not beneficial for TWICE nor Park Myung Soo."
